Dialogue/Character Resolution Fix - v1.0 (2024 update)

Hey all, I made a small fix to increase the resolution of dialogue sequences & character views, increasing them from locked 1080p up to 2160p instead, you can find it here: https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodstainedritualofthenight/mods/144

This is mostly useful for people playing above 1080p, but AFAIK even if you're playing at 1080p or below it should help super-sample the dialogue models too, improving the quality a little (but not as much as it helps people above 1080p)

Hello, Havoc! It looks like the difference is around 20%, but I liked the result. This game lacks a lot in the visual quality of the character models in general. Thanks! Nice job.

I can't wait to check this out. The 720p-like dialogue scenes look really bad and distracting when the rest of the game looks beautiful and crisp at 4K. Even with the the concave glasses that zoom the screen in, you can really appreciate the detail, in the environments and character models.

Hi, been a while but just posted 1.0 update for the fix, you can now customize the resolution to whatever you like, so for example 2160p players could supersample the characters to 4320p instead to help a lot with aliasing, without much perf hit.

It'll also apply to the menu screen character again too, since one of the game updates had changed that.

Interesting. I may have to try this out. My 4090 has to be forced into max performance mode since this game doesn't utilize the GPU much at all, so this may actually help in that department and give better looks at the same time. :)
