if you upgrade it to the max (using potions and high potions, and EX potion, and farm up the mob that give you the shard, untill you have 9, it heal 15 each half a second, wich is a lot, but ya, if you dont farm it, it is useless

The MP usage is a lot at first but if you max out the shards rank as well as have nine of those shards... you'll recover 15 HP per half second.

It's gets even better if you increase your MP Recovery as well as equip gear that lowers MP usage. At that point it's pretty much free healing as you'll out-pace the MP usage... kinda.

If you want free healing you need to grind for it

i grinded 9 of em and upgraded em to level 6. now they heal like 20 and quicker. feels kinda useful now. the default healing is a joke though. but overall, this shard can be OP very easily, with health items and cooking being expansive.

Have you tried the passive shard Words of Wisdom? It really reduces MP cost. When fully upgraded, is awesome

You can reduce MP usage with a ring, and use both of them... Or enhance healing shards with rings but increase MP cost (much higher healing at a higher cost).

Or mix and match since you can permanently gain word of wisdom at rank 9, grade 9 for a skill shard passive.

I'd say max out Regeneration first, you heal 5 hp every 3 seconds.

Mine is 9/9 and only heals for 15 at a time even wearing as much INT-boosting equipment as I can.

When you've got 1700-ish health, it's a joke. Still drains MP like a leech unless I'm sitting in a very particular summon chair as well.

Mine is maxed and heals for 15 per tic. But it tics pretty damn fast when max ranked.

Equip Words of Wisdom passive (or maybe it was the Warlock Necklace?) and you can heal for almost forever. I made an equipment set shortcut and named it just "Healing" with that setup. Works well.

It's really only useful for topping off between rooms to be honest. It helps, but it's basically worthless without being at least 6/9 or something. With how common saverooms are in the top half of castle it's even less useful, but the bottom half has far less save points with bigger gaps in general (Looking at you $&£* desert ¬_¬) so it'd be good to have there just in case.

Words of Wisdom + Warlock Necklace + 6mp/s regen (food buffs) = Free Healing casts.
Alternatively, just go grab one of every shard (including Iga's if you have the DLC) then use Gebel's Glasses for infinite mana.
