Really hoping all the other content is added before they start selling these outfits. Seems like cash grab BS, especially by gauging interest before any of the promised content is even out yet.
It is either a cash grab, or they want to keep some of the modelling artists employed a while longer.
It's a smart system, sell things that have no impact on game play, so nobody feels pressured to buy it, but plenty of people will do it anyway because cosmetics.
They need money to do stuff, this game has costed alot for em to make.
And the game aint complete yet, its complete when it runs good on all platforms and all dlc (free) is out.
For a few cosmetic stuff they acualy ask in survey what price shud be fair.
Nothing wrong or bad here, they just search for a way to get some more income and they do it in a honest way.
Yes. That's why I called it a cash grab.
Exactly. They need to focus on actually finishing the game and not paid DLC.
I disagree. The game hasn't even been out a month yet. Like I said, as long as the game is content complete before they start the paid DLC, then fine, but something tells me they'll be pushing this DLC right after zangetsu is released.
Exactly. They actually asked in the poll what we thought a reasonable price would be for the cosmetics. It's probably not going to cost a hell of a lot. And it helps us get ACTUAL content for free. It's a win/win basically.
Let's consider this as a tip for a job well done, rather than money for content that at least to my understanding, was already financed.
Game development can be unpredictable, theres never any guarantee what certain pieces of content will cost. So many successfully backed kickstarters end up getting lost in limbo with the team getting bankrupt without even managing to finish what they set out to make. Not saying the dev team is financially irresponsible, but fulfilled stretch goals isn't really an accurate metric to the financial situation of the game.
