Chairs, do they hold a secret or easter egg?

There are a few that probably make interesting screenshots like Miriam looking at a painting but some of them are just there and certain rooms seem to be hidden but practically empty, aside from the piano, is there anything to be discovered by sitting in certain places?

Yep, I didn't count the chair summon but I wonder if it holds any secret on itself, I refuse to think there is a completely useless thing in the game like that, there can be weaker or very situational things like weapons and skills but a full force joke skill?

Do sit on the chair at the bottom of the waterfall in the Forbidden Underground Passage; it gives you a ride to the top if you need one.

The mana regeneration boost only applies to chairs conjured by the Summon Chair shard, just FYI.

Sitting increases your mana regain substantially. The chair summon actually changes its look to more grand seats as you level it up. The chair also restores more per tick as it levels up.

The Chair Shard is pretty damn OP if you don't want to burn food to heal. You can max it out in about 10 minutes of grind.

Iga is well-known for including joke items and such, mate. Castlevania is full of stuff that is useless outside of the amusement factor.

I am aware; I was just letting the poster know that there are some things that are designed to be truly useless, and it might not be worth wasting hours to seek meaning where there is none.

Search on Youtube for Bloodstained Chair Glitch, and you will see that a chair plus the reflector beam lets you skip levels. Given the level skip glitches in all the other Iga games, this may well be the intention for the chair existing.

You can glitch with pre-placed chairs, but summoned chairs will give you the flexibility to glitch in more places.
