Life Bars on Bosses
I realized recently that there is no life bars on bosses. You cannot tell how close they are to death. I suggest adding life bars to bosses, so we can tell how close they are to death.

Wouldn't make more sense to just change Bloodlines for Rondo of Blood instead of making an edit at the end

It would have.

I like to think there is some sort of integrity when I point out my own mistakes but maintain the original writing. That's just my thinking, of course.

Because of the Rondo of Blood callback.

That's because is a flashback to Rondo of Blood

I appreciate both of your comments, and it was neat to learn that. I've never played Rondo of Blood, I started with SotN and continued from there. ^-^

So you're saying Dark Souls was dumbed down?

Real gamers don't need health bars for their bosses.

So people who play Dark Souls are not real gamers?

Still not an argument.

Hey guys, there ABSOLUTELY is a hidden equip item that lets you see enemy life each time you hit an enemy! xD

Thanks. Somebody mentioned that above. It's a good compromise.

Never was in any Castlevania and hopefully never will be in any of the spirital successors to the franchise.
It was in the original Castlevania... I know it's not in SOTN style ones just saying. I want them in but I get why they didn't and it's fine that they didn't include them.

Incorrect. The Classic retro style Castlevania games except Simon's quest the bosses had life bars. This includes CV 1,3,4, Rondo of Blood, Bloodlines, Dracula X/Vampire's Kiss, Castlevania Chronicles.

Can anybody tell where to find this item? I really suck in this game and it would help to determine shold I fight or grind.

I'm -pretty- sure it was the thing hidden in this spot, unless I got confused with some other pickup. :x

Cool! Thanks for a bunch!
Hey, but life bars can be nice as well. Not because we do actually need, but because its nice to see the bar going down while we are damaging the boss , specially with big numbers ( kinda liked those bars at Curse of Darkness). Its kinda a reference for fighting games:
