Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

Deus Ex: Game of the Year Edition

How to fix New Vision
I havent played this game much but it looks very fun.
I saw that new vision was a popular mod which doesnt change gameplay so I would have the sameish expirence in better graphics.
But I download it and reinstalled 3 times and it doesnt work.
If I dont use direct 3d 10 support then it uses the normal graphics, if I use direct 3d 10 then the screen goes black.
I have made sure the path to the game files is correct.
Can anyone please help me :D

I'm not sure what the problem is. Did you try to upgrade to the latest version of Kentie's launcher/Deus Exe? Are new Vision files checked in the modifications window? Did you try the OpenGL renderer?

Install Deus EX : Revision, it incorporates textures from New Vision and allows wide screen.
Wroks like a charm and no need to install other .exes

I can't tell because I can hear the music. Not sure if I enjoy it though, got used to the original.

I wouldn't recommend that. He said he wanted to play the original with better graphics, and Revision alters the level design, sometimes taking heavy artistic liberties.

As for the original poster, I say check if your game is installed in C:/Program Files. That screws up files since Windows applies protections to them since Windows 7 onwards.
