Anyways, the foliage on the new map, Mortaine, look absolutely gorgeous compared to previous maps. Despite veterans of this game incessantly complaining about new players, I'm really glad this game was brought to game pass along with the addition of the boot camp/ training map. Brings some very much needed new breath into the playerbase.
Disclaimers would mean something if this game and its dev teams had a history of fulfilling promises on time, but they don't. I get it, new maps are really hard to make, but the rate of release and how little stuff there is is a bit concerning given that a good portion of the content on this is either rehashed or a fix for something that should have been released in working order. 1 year to fix a faction is insane.

My brother in christ this is a new dev team and it probably takes time for this kind of change to truly settle. I get you're jaded from previous missteps, but this game is alive and well. No need to be so doom and gloom.

Can't wait for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ community to try and find a way to ruin every single update and harass the poor developers again.

please create a mandatory tutorial for console players, to teach them how to make garrysons and outposts. It's impossible to play because they come in as an official just because of the binoculars

They've been in charge for a year now. It's not hyperbolic and gloomy to complain about getting 2 fps for multiple minutes in crucial firefights or in-game moments because it's a new dev team. This team has also released multiple broken updates, and then spends 6 months fixing them, and people call it content. Re adding the panther is not content, fixing a busted british faction is not content, having to constantly change vehicles around because the historicity is so bad is not content. Driel is the best thing this dev team has managed to do and that was a legacy project. But jeez, I could easily live with all that if I could just consistently get 60fps without the frame dropping.

it literally says these are "medium term development goals" and that the roadmap "will be updated again in the future" so, no that's not it.
They can't call a "HLL 2024 roadmap" a medium term thing. That statement is very contradictory tbh. Why say it is a roadmap for 2024 if it is just for middle term goals?

Specifically a new year's roadmap in general is not a medium term thing. Ever. Otherwise such a plans have no even point to be released as a "roadmap" connected to a year.

Roadmap is generally a thing that is meant to show long-term plans, that's the very nature of roadmap. I fail to see it here but if they call it a "HLL 2024 roadmap", they were bound to show more.

can we just have same maps but have the points rearranged. there are large portions of good playable area in several of the already established maps without much use. :csstudy:

Skirmish mode---not needed by anyone who is interested in playing the game 'Hell Let Loose'
Firing Range updates---also not needed. a firing range does not prepare newbies to play the game 'Hell Let Loose'
Anything to do w/Console or Controller blah blah blah---completely underserves the PC community that built and drives this game.

Dear Devs,

Do you understand the product you're are working with? I get that you have to find ways to sell copies, but overhauling any of general the gameplay dynamics to 'Hell Let Loose' (ie, "Skirmish" mode) is simply going to give you a cut-rate and less pretty CoD. Do you really think that's going to sell MORE copies???

Please focus on ways to enrich the game for the dedicated playerbase you have....that playerbase, and the experience THEY drive for this game's new players, is what keeps HLL growing and vital. All the rest is simply ill-conceived, busch league, marketing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Love,

Jack Waggon

Despite the new dev team struggling after taking over, it seems like you know deep down this dev team is getting into the swing of things, but for some reason you just refuse to acknowledge it. Don't get me wrong though, we both want to see the state of the game to continue to improve, and with less screw ups on the way.

I'm still having fun playing this game and I'm looking forward to new additions and a growing playerbase, aren't you?

Regardless of how it's worded I think the dev team is trying to tell us they are hopeful to get even more into the game. I think it's a low floor, high ceiling kind of thing.
