The UE4-HLL Game has crashed and will close
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 202]
Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. D3D device was
not available to assertain DXGI cause.

But I think we are improving. I hope we can repair it.

Let's try to check their game installation to make sure that there are no corrupted files causing the problem. To do this:
- Right-click the game in your library
- Go to 'Properties'
- Go to the local files tab
- Click 'Verify integrity of game files...'
If you could also please send a new, updated dxdiag, preferably one after the game has crashed that would be very helpful too!To reveal any possible issues with your Windows system, we would like to also recommend that they please attempt the following actions:
- Open the Windows Start Menu
- Type “cmd”
- Right-click on Command Prompt > Run as administrator
- Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes
- Press Enter
- If the process has revealed/resolved any issues, please attempt to run the game again

1. So We did files check. Friend says It was downloading something.
2. New dxdiag after ERROR 202 ---> https://justpaste.it/esv8a

So should We try play when Steam found some broken files and downloaded them again?

Is the issue still occurring after doing all of the steps?
Can you please try running Steam as an administrator:
- Navigate to your Steam install folder (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam)
- Locate the game executable (the application) and left-click it to highlight the application
- Then right-click it and select Show More Options
- Then select Properties
- Click the Compatibility tab
- Check the Run this program as an administrator box
Please can you also try and install vcredist packages directly from the Microsoft page:- Go to the Microsoft official download page here.[support.microsoft.com]
- Install packages for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019. You will need to install two files: x86 and x64.
- Reboot your PC and retest the game.
If those steps do not help, please can you run the DISM tool to attempt to fix any corrupted files on your system:1. Press Windows + S to open the Search menu and type Command Prompt in the text field, then click on Run as an Administrator in the right-hand panel
2. Type the following commands and press Enter after each individual one:
• DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
• DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
• DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
3. Then please reboot or restart your device after you run these prompts
Please note: This might take a while to finish scanning - do not cancel this process.

We set Steam and HLL.exe as admin. I already said it in first post.
Its few days old fresh install of WIN11. Not corrupted system. Already checked too.
My friend today got error:198 back again so We give up.
It has to be something with HW or We cannot get it.

Our apologies, we did not see anywhere that running Steam as admin was already tried.
It may be easier to troubleshoot the issue if your friend can contact us themselves directly, this way they can send us the information directly.

If you are also experiencing the same error as this player, please do try the steps given above and if they do not help, please share with us a dxdiag using the steps below:
- Hold down the Windows Key and press R
- The Run dialog should appear. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
- Click OK
- Click Save All Information
- Set the Save as type to Text File (*.txt)
- Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find.
- Open the .txt file, copy all the contents > Paste all the contents to a free text hosting service such as https://justpaste.it/ or http://pastebin.com/
- Copy the link to your post and paste in your reply

We found out when Discord is turned off. The game runs for 4h straight with no problem.
We gonna try turn off Discord overlay and other staff in Discord settings.
Just reminder friend's PC has 16GB RAM and enough cores to play a game with Discord app on.

Please do let us know how you and your friend get on in a match when the Discord Overlay is disabled and if disabling this overlay resolves the issue.

We disabled Discord Overlay but game sometimes just turn off plus Discord shutdown too.
It seems some HW problem of that laptop.
We will change laptop for new PC. We still want to play.
We just cannot simulate issue.
