Still no fix for the server browser lag?
I know this is a common problem, but I also know it doesn't affect everyone.

It still takes anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes for the server list to populate, after freezing. It's not specific to my PC, I've used several totally different builds in different locations over the span of years and it's always been a problem.

Could it have anything to do with ISPs by chance? I'm not familiar with networking but I recall having to change something in my router settings because Prime Video (and only prime) would take ages to load a single video. Had to mess around with the DNS settings / bandwidth allocation. Could this be something similar?

I was just about to make a post about it. It's not the ISP, I have a second computer here my wife uses, and she does not have this problem.

No.

Just ban me from this community because I saw the other forum chain about this issue that went on for years with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, unhelpful support replies like this.

Fix your game man. It's your guys' problem, not the players. This issue has persisted and these fixes have never worked.

People have attempted to troubleshoot this problem extensively, for years now.

Do something about it, instead of making us run circles.

Same problem here and it's obviously something wrong with the game itself not the connection. If it was the connection it should show an empty server list instead of freezing.

I hope this is fixed soon. My game freezes for roughly 5 entire minutes any time I open the server browser. Sometimes, it'll freeze for no reason when idling in the main menu.

I have already verified integrity of game files, re-installed the game, check to see if my graphic drivers are up to date, I do not use a VPN, no connection issues on any other game, lowered settings, and so on. This is really ridiculous.

Furthermore, I will join a server from the browser labeled to have ~60 ping, yet when I join, it is ~130 without fail. This happens on every single server I connect to, regardless of region. This includes official servers as well. I know for a fact that it is not my connection faltering, as I have zero issues remotely similar to this on any other platform. Much less any other game. Where does the game derive these numbers from if it is just going to be misleading?

Hey VividDerMedic,

Thank you for sharing that extra information with us.

Unfortunately, this may just be due to the server not having updated via the server browser list, etc.
There are many different factors to a servers ping levels.

We do appreciate the time and effort you put into sending this over, your passion and support mean a lot to us.

If you have any other questions or experience any other issues, please do not hesitate to get back in touch with us!
