Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having issues with Hell Let Loose.
Can you please go to the game settings and change the video option from window to fullscreen?
If that doesn't work then please navigate to the following directory:
Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\HLL\Content and delete the Paks folder.
Then please attempt to verify your files again:
- Right-click on the game in your Steam Library
- Choose Properties
- Switch to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
Then attempt to run the game to see if the issue is resolved. Then please retest the game.
Another solution for 'pak chunk errors' you can try is to change the following sound setting:
- Right-click volume icon on the bottom right corner and choose 'Sounds'
- Go to Recordings tab
- Double click on the default input device
- Go to advanced settings tab and uncheck exclusivity mode
- Apply the change and retest the game
If that doesn't work as well, then we would recommend running a memory test check. You can find a few options in this guide[www.howtogeek.com], thought it would be best if you could use MemTest86.
Please do get back to us and let us know how you get on!

Thanks for trying those steps.
Can you please check what your GPU clock is using as some GPU's are auto-overclocked when bought/added to the PC?
It looks like your graphics drivers are also currently out of date, could you please download and install the latest drivers for your GTX 1070 card?
To do this please go to the Nvidia webpage via the below link and follow the instructions.
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/198796/en-us/
Let's also make sure that your computer is not attempting to run the game via your integrated graphics card, rather than your dedicated NVidia graphics card.
To run the game through your dedicated graphics card, you may need to refer to your graphics card manufacturer's documents. If you are still unsure of how to do this, please contact the manufacturer of your graphics card directly.
We are unable to directly offer you instructions on how to do this. However, if you are connected to the internet, you may find the following useful:
- Right-click your desktop, and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
- From the left, select Manage 3D Settings.
- Select Program Settings and navigate to select the program. (If the program is not in the list, select Add > navigate to the folder ‘…\Steam\steamapps\common’, select the game name folder and then select the .exe.
- Click High Performance to select the higher power graphics card to use for that specific application.
After the steps please retest the game to see if the problem still continues.Select Apply.

I think Anti Cheat is the issue, as I had twice the notice that it couldn't connect proper
Thanks for getting back to us!
Could you please try disabling XMP for your RAM?
To do this you need to reboot your PC and enter BIOS - usually, the XMP profile is clearly marked in the settings.
Just look for RAM or Memory Settings option then for XMP or X.M.P. After disabling the option save the settings and open Windows to retest the game.
Please do let us know if this fixes the issue, if not we can continue to troubleshoot!
Get back to us when you can.
