I used a dedicated registry uninstaller a friend recommended and found a ton of left over files this afternoon, after uninstalling through steam, and running CC Cleaner. I cleared all of that, re-ran the DDU one more time with the New Graphics Card setting (read somewhere this wipes EVERYTHING, and sure enough had to switch to integrated graphics because my PC didn't recognize my card until I reinstalled drivers), and used nvcleanstall to get *just* the graphics/audio, and PhysX drivers. I also cleared out my shader caches again of any leftover files between using DDU and nvcleanstall.
An hour later and were running smoother than before, and without any crashes except for the very first time I launched the game after doing all that. With any luck it will have been a bad combination of corrupted files hidden throughout the registry, a bad graphics driver, and just some awful timing.
Besides one or two hiccups, I was able to play 3 matches back to back, with only one crash on the first load in.
Thanks for getting in touch - sorry to see you've had some issues with a crash in Hell Let Loose.
Just to confirm, has the crash been resolved since trying the last steps reported or are you still experiencing the same crash?
If so, we can investigate further so please do let us know!

Thanks for getting back to us.
I can see from your DxDiag that you have both an onboard Intel graphics card as well as the dedicated NVIDIA card - can you please make sure that you are attempting to run the game through your NVIDIA and not your Intel card? To do this:
- Type Settings in Windows Search and press Enter
- Click on System
- Under the Display tab, scroll down to the end and click on Graphics Settings
- Select Desktop App and click on Browse
- Find the game's location, select the .exe file and click on Add
- Click on Options, select High performance and Save
Then please retest the game and see if the issue persists. If so, Can you please follow the steps in the link to perform a clean boot?[team17.helpshift.com]
A clean boot is being used to start your Windows device using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.
Once this is done please launch the game to see if the issue still continues.
If the crash no longer happens when your start up programs are disabled, we would recommend enabling these programs again one-by-one to see if there is a specific program that is causing conflict. To re-enable your start-up programs:
- Follow the steps above again but enable all of your programs and services.
- Then click Apply and restart your computer.
Get back to us when you can and let us know how you get on with this.Regards,

Thanks for getting back to us and confirming!
We're really glad to see that running the game through your NVIDIA card has helped resolve the issue and you can get back to playing! :)
Please don't hesitate to reach out in the future should you have any further queries or require any further assistance!

In the game, press F12 to take a screenshot. Then press Shift+Tab to bring up the Steam overlay, and Upload your screenshot, make it public. Then simply include the URL of your screenshot on the forum (it should look something like "http...sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=...")We would like to request that you also please send us your DxDiag information via the steps below:
- Hold down the Windows Key and press R
- The Run dialog should appear. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
- Click OK
- Click Save All Information
- Set the Save as type to Text File (*.txt)
