We're sorry to hear you're having this issue as well.
Are you also experiencing crash issues, or just the settings being reset?
Regarding the settings, some players have reported that making sure your settings file is not set to read-only has resolved the issue for them.
You can find it in:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\HLL\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\
Then, please left-click to highlight it, then right-click the gameusersettings file > select properties > make sure read-only is not ticked.
Get back to us when you can.

Unfortunately, the above is only a workaround that has helped some players with the issue.
Is your game crashing as well or is it just the settings are being reset?

We're sorry to hear you're having this issue as well.
Can you please try the below steps:
- Click on the Windows logo, type %localappdata% and Enter
- Open HLL folder and go to Saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor
- Delete the GameUserSettings.ini file
- Launch game and retest saving your settings
Then please also make sure that your game is not set to hidden or private by going to the title in your Steam library - go to the settings cog on the right - manage - if either are turned on it will show 'unhide' or 'unmark as private' if either of those show, please click to unhide or unmark as private and then test if the issue continues. We hope this helps!

I want to make a few test if it does`nt happen without FRTC enabled.
Thanks for getting back in touch with us.
We'd recommend to not use this whilst playing the game if this is the cause of the crashing for you - unfortunately we're unable to ffer any further troubleshooting for yourself as this is a third party software and feature not developed by ourselves.
You can try contacting AMD support[www.amd.com] directly should you wish to try further troubleshooting as the issue does not occur when this is not in use.
Thank you.

So yes, voice chat crashes the game and let the pc turn off and on restart all hll settings are lost
We're sorry to hear you're experiencing crashes again!
This is a very odd issue that we have not come across with any other players, and the voice chat does not crash the game for ourselves so we're unable to reproduce this.
Is this coming from the same software as we discussed above again or this the software disabled still and the issue is still occurring?
Can you please also share with us a new dxdiag, created after the crash occurs?

Guys sorry but not again. Had previous contact to your support via your website Ticket number should be [23443]. All was fine. Please not again.
I hope you’re doing well! We took a look at the ticket you mentioned, and I completely understand how frustrating it can be to resend information. I noticed that your ticket dates back to December 2024. While it hasn't been too long, drivers often change, and new issues can pop up that might not be captured in the original file. If the game crashes again for a new reason, it would really help us get the latest info from you.
Also, could you let us know if you see any error messages when the game crashes, or does it just close on its own without any notification?
Are you using any overclocking or undervolting features at the moment? This includes anything like automatic overclocking in the BIOS or performance tools like AMD’s Precision Boost Overdrive. If so, could you try disabling those and see how the game performs with the default settings?
We appreciate your help. Get back to us when you can.
