a network error has occurred please try again

i just bought and downloaded the game but i cant play it.It doesnt even load it just says 'a network error has occured.please try again' and keeps saying that. My internet connection is fine i dont think its the problem. But i dont come up with someone getting this error in steam in internet it just happened to xbox series s and ps5 player. Anyone knows a fix pls?

Had this issue last night as well and didn't see any recent posts about it and lost hope. I am relieved to see it is not just me this morning. For any context, it happened to me mid game. Screen went black, game crashed, and upon relaunching it gave me the error. Tried every single step in this forum and more and nothing works. The only thing I couldn't do was delete the launcherinfo.hllinfo file as it was not in my folder.

I was told to set my PC clock back a few days because T17 forgot to renew some certs? anyway, I set it to 11/27 date and no more error! Hope it works

Fixed mine!
I recently experienced this exact network error on game launch. I went through every fix I could find online without luck including re-installing the game.
I decided to confirm whether the issue was my ISP. My house mate also plays so I got him to download and boot it up (On the same network as me). He didn't have the issue. I decided to try booting my game back up and it was working again! This is potentially not a fix and is a coincidence but its working again. My next point to troubleshoot was to mobile hotspot my PC, removing my ISP as the issue(obviously didnt need to go this far).
But hope this helps others in the same boat.
