Sound issues

My audio sounds really horrible now after this update, explosions especially. Very distorted explosions and gun shots. I have tried turning my sfx up and down to no effect. i love the new map great job on that btw but is unplayable with the broken audio. I had no sound issues before update.

Hey all,

Thank you for your reports, can you confirm if you are having these issues regardless of the distance from the shots/explosions? When you lower the volume, does the volume actually goes down, but keeps the distortion?

The closer the explosion the worst the distortion. Lowering the volume does make it go down but the sound is still distorted.

yes same here. i just went in to test again and realized it only happens when i'm using my headphones. My pc speakers dont have the sound issues but i use my headphones for this game because the mic is built in. But my headphones work just fine with other games and worked with HLL til the new update.

most player made sounds are distorted such as guns, tanks, planes but not the ambient sounds in each map. i also noticed that when i kept spamming right click which is "aim", the chirping sound occurs until i stop pushing the button. also get the chirping with some keyboard keys.

It's a wireless headset, G930 Logitech; the receiver plugs in via USB.

I am using a Logitech G430 USB 7.1 DTS headset. When I first startet the game, my headset disconnected itself from my pc after running several seconds in a match. Now all sounds ingame are distorted and noisy. Before the update I had no issues with this headset. I haven't changed anything on my system, only updated the game to it's new version.
I'm using Logitech Gaming Software 8.88.30.

My headset is USB ESKA E1000 7.1 surround sound.

Updated Logitech Gaming Software to v9.00.42 and completely re-installed the drivers after removing the device and it's drivers. Still, I get the same issues with distorted and cracking sounds.

dunno if it helps but I have a corsair H2100 7.1 headset and anytime windows sonic is enabled it distorts my surround sound like I stuck my head underwater.

Luckily windows sonic is inferior to the surround sound hardware/software the headset ships with, so I just keep windows sonic disabled.

I have more info to add. I purchased a new headset/mic. I now have a Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless (USB) headset and the distortion is still there, mostly in Purple Heart. This one works fine in all other games.

I have good clear sound but, keep loosing the comms in almost ever game since the last update. Loose it and maybe when respond it returns then loose it again or after one game have no comms in the next game.
