Can't redownload Hell Let Loose

I've been trying to redownload HLL 3 times atm, but every time it reaches 99% the download corrupts. I tried clearing steam cache downloads and reparing folders but even though i did those, it would still corrput at 99% download. Is there any other way to fix this issue so I can redownload HLL without it being a corrupted download?

Hi devs, I tried downloading HLL again but when it is almost done downloading, at around 99%, the download corrupts. Basically once it's about to finish downloading, it stops and the download gets corrupted saying "corrupted download" with a red color. I have a screenshot of how it looks like but i'm not sure how to post a photo in comments or replies. It didn't show any error message though, the game goes back to download queue with "corrupted download" color red. I tired verifying integrity of files before and after trying to download multiple times and they all verified, but the download still corrupts. I tried repairing folders and clearing steam cache multiple times too, but it still gets corrupted at the very last second of the download. As soon as it is about to complete download at 99%, the next second it tries to complete the download it corrupts.

Thanks for your reply.

You can upload it to something such as Imgur and post the link here if that is easier.

Can you please clear your download cache:

1. Open your Steam client and navigate to Settings. (This is located on the top left menu.)
   
2. Locate Downloads in the Settings panel.
   
3. Click Clear Download Cache. Click OK to confirm your choice and after a while, Steam will ask for your login credentials.
   
4. After logging in again, Steam will start as expected.

Thank you for sharing that with us.

Can you please try repairing your installation folder?

Go to Steam settings - Downloads tab - click the steam library folder button.
Then when the new page opens, go to the button with the 3 dots on the right side of the long bar and choose repair folder.

If that doesn't help, please try installing the game onto a different HDD.

Hi again devs, it didn't work too. There must be something wrong with the game file and my HDD. Other games download just fine without corrupting. As far as I know, it has only been HLL that has been corrupted while downloading. It didn't work like last time, but thanks for the help. You guys are great devs, keep it up!

Thank you for trying that.

Could you please try performing a malware and virus scan on your PC?
This may also be causing this issue.

Did you try installing the game on another HDD?

You can also try changing the download region you have set in Steam settings - download tab - change the download region to another one near you.

Hi again devs, sadly changing region didnt work either. I scanned my PC for any malware or viruses, but nothing came up. It's all clean. And regarding the HDD, I only have one because I use an Acer Helios Predator 300 laptop, soo I can't really download it on different HDDs. Anyways, thanks for trying to help me but I'll end it here for now. Kinda lost interest in trying to download HLL again just to play. I'll try some other time when I have an actual PC setup. We would recommend doing an online search for more steps on this as this issue is usually due to Steam or the Drive itself.
