Thanks for getting that over to us.
We can see quite a few LiveKernalEvent 141 crashes - this indicates hardware failure and often means there are issues with your hardware such as your GPU, memory or hard disk.
Could you please run Windows Memory Diagnostic?
- Type Memory in Windows search and press Enter
- Select Windows Memory Diagnostics result
- Click Restart now and check for problems (recommended) (note that your PC will restart immediately)
- A memory test will run during startup and display any detected errors – this might take awhile
- Replace or repair faulty RAM module(s) if errors are found
Alternatively, you can do this using MemTest86 for a more comprehensive view of any memory issues that may have arisen: https://www.memtest86.com/We would also recommend running a disk check to check if your hard disk drive is faulty - you can run a quick check with the CHKDSK tool. Here are the steps:
- Type cmd in the Windows search box. Then right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator
- Click Yes when you’re prompted
- In the command prompt, type chkdsk C: /f /r /x and press Enter - if the scan doesn’t start as expected and an alert pops up, type Y and press Enter
- Once this has been completed, restart your computer
This will scan the disk drive automatically and try repairing detected errors. Once done, please retest the game and see if the crashes still occur. If they do, a new DxDiag would be great to see, immediately following the crash of Hell Let Loose.
Get back to us when you can and let us know how you get on with these steps.

Thank you for getting back to us.
Can you please confirm if you have any mods installed for the game? If so can you please uninstall them and retest the game to see if this helps solve the problem you are having?
We look forward to your reply.

Thank you for getting back to us.
Haven taking another look at your last Dxdiag you are getting a lot of LiveKernelEvent 141 events, this error is linked with hardware failure usually with GPU, Memory, or Hard disk. We would recommend having your system checked to make sure there are no problems with these components. Once you have done this if there is anything found and fixed then retest the game to see of the problem continues.
We look forward to your reply.

Thanks for getting in touch with us - sorry to hear you're having a similar issue.
Are your receiving the exact same error message as reported by OP (Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG')) or are you receiving a different one/code?
Have you tried all of the steps listed in this thread and the error still persists?
Could you please pop us over your DxDiag information - you can do this by following the steps below:
- Hold down the Windows Key and press R.
- The Run dialog should appear. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
- Click OK
- Click Save All Information
- Set the Save as type to Text File (*.txt)
- Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find.
- Open the .txt file, copy all the contents > Paste all the contents to a free text hosting service such as http://pastebin.com/
- Copy the link to your post and paste in your reply
Once we've received this information, we can take a closer look.Get back to us when you can.
