90% of Server list is not showing up

When looking for servers, only about 35-45 servers show up for me, however on my other computer I can see 400 servers. There is no anti virus or blocking running on this one.

I previously also reported that on this PC, the server list takes over 1 minute to load, while on my other it takes some seconds.

Both PCs running on SSDs, same connection, wired, no issues with any other game.

Sorry to hear you're having issues finding servers in Hell Let Loose.

Could you please:

1. Go to Steam Settings > In-Game
   
2. Change the max ping from Automatic (5000) to 250 (the Lower)
   
3. Restart Steam (log out and log back on)
   
4. Start the game, click Enlist and wait for the server list to refresh

If the issue persists following this, please do let us know and we can investigate this further.

I tried the suggestion, I see only 4 servers now.

On the other computer the list is set to 5000 ping, and it sees 435 servers at the same time.

Thank you for trying that step please feel free to set this back to 5000. Can you please just confirm on your other machine where you can see all the servers has this had the most recent update on it. Can you please just confirm how the new machine is connected to the internet and if it's the same as the other machine you have?

I had this bug since yesterday, suddenly i had only 50 servers in my list, only the ones with low ping.
Seeing this thread, i tried to put the maxping to 250 + close steam + open steam + launch HLL => only 4 servers !!
I closed HLL, put the setting back to 5000 + close steam + open steam + launch HLL and go to server list : 500 servers appeared. Got back to main HLL menu and back in server list again => only 100 server remaining !! WTF ???
For information, the 'favorite' server list seems to work correctly, as i see more servers in it while they don't show in general list.
There is a MAJOR bug here guys !! We can't play without reaching servers !!

Can you please check that your anti-virus/firewall/windows defender is not blocking the game in any way?

We would also recommend making sure that the following exceptions are added to any anti-virus/firewall or Windows Defender software you may be using:

• HLL.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
  
• HLL_BugReportUploader.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
  
• HLL-Win64-Shipping.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\HLL\Binaries\Win64
  
• EasyAntiCheat.exe - Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat
  
• EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe - Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\EasyAntiCheat
  
• Launch_HLL.exe - Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose

If the issue still persists following this, we would recommend running both Steam and the game as admin.

To run Steam as an administrator:

2. Right-click the Steam executable
   
3. Follow the above steps to set it to 'Run as Administrator
   
4. Then restart Steam

To run the game as administrator:

1. Right-click the game in your Steam Library
   
2. Go to Properties then the 'Installed Files' tab
   
3. Click 'Browse'
   
4. Locate the game executable (the application)
   
5. Right-click it and go to Properties
   
6. Click the Compatibility tab
   
7. Check the Run this program as an administrator box

Please can you then retest the game?

Thanks for your message. I tried all these settings and it doesn't change anything.
I also replaced my ISP DNS by openDNS and cloudflareDNS, in IP4 and IP6, then made a flushdn, just in case my ISP had a route problem with US servers url but the problem is still there.
Actually, with no filter in server list, HLL find only 106 servers, and regarding to their low ping, i suppose it's only european servers, but not all european servers because i can't see some of my favorite french servers, while i can see them if i go in the favortie list.
For information, i'm on 1GB fiber, with around 5-20ms ping on EU servers and 70-130ms on US servers.
Hope all these detail will help to solve the problem as fast as possible.
Here at night almost all EU servers are empty so i have to play on US servers, but it's impossible with this bug.

1. Does this happen all the time or only on a certain day?
   
2. Can you please check to make sure you are playing on the full game and not the PTE servers.
   
3. Can you confirm if you are trying to join servers by clicking on your friends and joining them?
   
4. Can you confirm when searching for the server if you have accidentally hit any of the other filters that may affect the search?

Once we have this information we will be able to assist you further on this matter.

* It happens all the time since july 25th. This day, in evening, the server list was normal and i played for some hours in my fav server, but when at night i wanted to find a new server in US (because my usual french servers are empty), i went back to the server browser and i had only 40-50 server listed, and all with low ping only so no US server.
* I use full game, not PTE
* I don't try to join friend by steam menu, i'm using ingame server browser like always.
* When i say there is 40-50 servers, it's without any filter. Once i put my usual filters (no empty servers and no password servers), at night it only display 1 or 2 servers on the 40-50 list.
Isn't there any debug log somewhere in local data ? or a debug mode to activate ?

I play from France and i can't find where, in HLL, we can set a region. BTW the server browser had no problem until last week, and i dind't change anything.
I don't use any VPN or proxy.
I have a 1Gb/s up/down fiber connection without any problem in all other multiplayer games (BF, COD,PUBG, WarThunder)
I opened HLL 2mn ago to serach the region setting, and first when i went in server list, it found 400+ server, including 100ms+ severs. BUT ! It only displayed them once : when i came back to menu, then back to server browser again, it only found 106 server. Then i tried to leave/comeback in server list many times, the 400+ server never came back.
The browser REALLY has a problem since 07/25/023. It worked perfectly before, and i'm not the only one with this bug.

Can you please try clearing your Steam Download cache?

1. Open your Steam client and click on Steam in the top-left of the window
   
2. Select Settings
   
3. Go to Downloads in the left-hand panel
   
4. Scroll down to Clear Download Cache and select Clear Cache
   
5. Then click on Confirm
   
6. Then restart your Steam client and retest the game

If the issue still persists, are you able to try playing the game through a VPN and see if the issue continues to occur? A few players have found this has resolved the issue for them.
