Muzzle Flash doesn't render in/show up

So I had two US guys one with a M3 (Grease Gun) & the other with a Thompson both Full-Auto firing at guys behind me as I was laying still while prone with my legs glitched in a small building/shed, 3 meters in front of me & not one single flash or smoke puff showed up from the front of the barrel of either SMG for about 4-5 seconds before I got both of them.

This was the map Hill 400 with US Offensive 50 v 50, on the second part after the open field farm & somewhat dark & foggy forest over to the right for flanks, near that forest there's a shed/building that you can not enter but it's good for blending in due to the Rank IX / X camo, leaves on the ground & darkness.
