We're sorry to hear you are having audio issues with Hell Let Loose.
If you go to your sound settings(right-click the sound icon bottom right of your pc) and choose the audio you wish to use when using your headset, it should then come through your headset. It may be that it is is still trying to use different audio channels.
Let us know the outcome.
Regards,
Team17 Support.
Working fine now and thank you so very much! When can we expect a UK army? :-)

Greetings Restayvien,
If applicable, can you please close every application that uses a microphone/VOIP (Discord, Skype, etc), unplug the headset and plug it back again and retest?

This problem, at least for me, is easily solved by routing my audio through a third party app like Voicemeeter. Otherwise I have no audio at all, though it works in other apps. I'm not sure if this is any help for you guys. I recently reset my computer, but a couple months before I reset it, my computer asked me if I'd like to disable audio enhancements for my headphones (Razer Kraken 7.1), as they were causing issues. I clicked yes, and from then on I always had sound in HLL. since I reset my computer, I have not been able to make this happen again, so I use Voicemeeter. I have the same problem with Squad, which was fixed in the same way. Hope this helps you guys get to the bottom of this!
First I assumed that it might be a connection thing and the dongle has a really crappy range which is probably not the case as i sit right next to it.
When I restart my headphones i get sound ingame, but it starts clipping. So my guess was maybe the bluetooth connection is to slow as it is hard to compress sound data. As a result I tried lowering the sound quality but nothing changed. After several minutes (sometimes almost the whole party) the sound reeturns tonnormal just to vanish the next match. There most likely is a conflict when using a external bluetooth adapter.
Hope this helps.
Did you test the game without the Bluetooth headset to see if that was the actual cause of the issue? If that is the case, can you let us know the model of the headset so that we can report it to our developers to take a look?

Regarding the 3rd party app (Voicemeeter). When using voicemeeter the game wont even start as there is a conflict (I belive it was at 0x00000008)
Error report was send though. If I can replicate the problem I can post a screenshot.
Thanks for the help
I load the game with Bluetooth and it is fine. Barracks, looking for a server, load into the game, all good, sound works.
Select a side and a few seconds later it turns off, for the whole computer. Turn the headset off and the speakers work again, but turn the headset back on and no sound. Quit out of the game back to the Barracks and everything is back to normal.
Thanks for your reply.
Are you having the same issue with the game?
Please give more information if you're having an issue and we will look to help further!

Soundmixer shows the right device selected. Everything else works fine, browser, other games, older games. I had no problem with onboard sound but after hearing the difference i wont go back.
Reinstalled the game, verified game files. Maybe there are some files still try to use my deactivated onboard sound but why than i hear some sound while loading?

Apologies, what exactly is the issue you're having with sound? Is it that your mic does not work?
You mention you can hear everything without issue, so if this is the case please do not add an audio input if this causes the issue.
El Presidente -
Do you have sound issues with any other application or game with the new soundcard?

- Press OK and retest
OR- Press the Windows button, type Sound Settings, and press Enter
- In here, under Advanced Sound Options, click in "Customise app volumes and the speakers or devices they use"
- Click on "Reset"
- Close the window and retest the game
Get back to us when you can.Regards,
