Freezing every few seconds
Anyone else having this problem?

I boot up the game, settings I have tried varying from epic to potato, and I will find every 10-15 seconds my game will freeze, then jump ahead in where I should be having held down any keys.

In task manager it says "not responding" during this time, and my ping will increase by 200 before dropping back down to 80. I have run integrity checks, uninstalled and reinstalled, run as administrator and fiddled with all graphic and audio settings, including reducing corpse time to minimal. None of it works.

This issue is very recent, as I never had it occur before the last week or so. Checks to my PC show no major issues, and although I do not have a high end gaming rig I do meet most requirements to be use high settings, albeit with considerable frame rate drops. For this reason I usually roll on medium-high.

Greetings Cayden Black,

Sorry to hear that this is happening - would it be possible to see your system information so that we can try to help? To do this:
  1. Hold down the Windows Key and press R, the Run dialogue should appear > Type dxdiag in the available text field > Click OK
  2. Click Save All Information > Save the file DxDiag.txt to your Desktop so it is easy to find
  3. Open the .txt file, copy all the contents > Paste all the contents to a free text hosting service such as http://justpaste.it, http://textuploader.com or http://freetexthost.com
  4. Copy the link to your post

I've had to cut it in half due to character limit. I have titled them accordingly.

Greetings Cayden Black,

Thanks for that - It looks like your graphics card drivers are out of date. Let's try to update them and retest the game by following these steps:

  1. Go to the official NVidia download centre here[www.nvidia.com]
  2. Using the dropdown menus, fill in your graphics card information and press "Search"
  3. In the new page, click on Download and then Download again
  4. Right-click over the file and select Run as administrator
  5. If you are prompted by Windows User Account Control, click on Yes. The installer will prompt you for an extraction path. Most users should be fine with the default path.
  6. Once the driver install has completed, the extracted files will automatically be removed from your PC. Choose OK.
  7. You will next be prompted to accept the NVIDIA software license agreement. Read the contents and then if you agree, click "AGREE AND CONTINUE" to proceed.
  8. Next, choose Custom (Advanced). Then click NEXT.
  9. Select Perform clean install and then click on NEXT.
  10. Once the installation has finished, reboot your PC one more time to complete the installation.
