Kicked due to high ping?
Ok before I let loose with my issues I would just like to say what I've actually been able to play of the game so far is really fun, but that brings me to my problem.
I am CONSTANTLY getting kicked for high ping and there is no good reason for it. Hell the server I'm trying to get on is based in the UK where I live and on the server browser says 17ms. I join the server, if I'm lucky I get to the force selection screen and then get kicked for high ping.
Just to clarify I am not downloading or uploading anything at the same time, steam and HLL are the ONLY 2 foreground applications running on my PC. I never have any problems running any other online games so that to me says it's definitely something server side causing this to happen, plus I know I'm not the only one with this issue. Kind of sucks really because I'm really trying to get a few hours in during the free weekend to get a feel for the game and make a decision on whether or not I'm going to buy it as it really does appeal to me but at this point I honestly can't justify spending money on a game that I won't be able to play.
Also for the record I was playing on a US East Server last night with not a single problem. 97 people in the server and it said my ping was 32. Yet I was able to get into that server perfectly fine even though I'm getting kicked from those local to me. Any help or advice in solving this issue would be most appreciated.

High Ping
I bought the game on its first day. at that time my ping was 90- 110 and its ok because its normal where I live. at the last month I have at least 150 ping if i join the server with the least ping I can find- the server says it has 80 ping, i join and bang im on 150 ping. this need to solve ASAP because I cant play that way anymore

It is some sort of bug. Has only happened to me twice. Others with a slightly higher normal ping have had it happen maybe once a week when playing a game every night of the week.

Doesn't feel like a bug. Because this is the VERY same reason I refunded it for MONTHS ago. Wanted to check to see if it still was happening, and well...guess it is. Thanks for saving me money!

Edit: Was connecting to a Japanese server with roughly 83ms from South Korea. Happened 3 times in a span of less than 2 hours. Lucky Steam let me refund it. Wish I could play though.

Hi lazybenjiboy,

We are sorry to hear that you're getting kicked.

If you haven't tried to change this in the Steam settings then please try to follow the steps:
1. Go to Steam Settings > In-Game
2. Change the max ping from Automatic (5000) to 250 (the Lower)
3. Restart Steam (log out and log back on)
4. Start the game, click Enlist and wait for the server list to refresh

Are you using Comodo or Avast? If so then you may want to disable it and check if the situation improves.

Please get back to us if the problem still continues.

getting kick for high ping?!
had the game for about a month before omaha beach update and it played fine but then this update drops and now every time i join a server i get kicked for high ping? Help!

The game reports a high ping because it's slow to load
The game should work for me on low performance settings but it takes so long to load that I keep getting kicked for "high ping", even though my ping should be 25.
I can't play.

Sudden low fps and high ping kick
I have had trouble with this game in the middle of commanding long games. FPS drops to 3-10 and I get kicked for high ping.

4k 1080ti i7

When is the game gonna get performance improvements and fix the memory leaks ?

You can also try the following: Turn down the dead bodies timer from 3 minits to less, for example, 1.3m and retest

Unfortunately this is still happening.
I noticed it happens to me on full servers. One of my high kicks was for 83ms, another 123ms...

NOTE: It would help if your progress could be saved and your achievements in the game awarded if you are kicked for something other than abuse/cheating/TKs.

I did witness a well known YT streamer tell another well known YT streamer & clan mate to "kick a noob from the server and give them a bs reason; they won't know anyway". Because they wanted in a full server to play with their mates. That happened.

It is NOT because of a high ping so it must be something else IMO.
