Lost Connection to Host During Commanding
I've never had an issue with losing connection to host error unless it had to do with my actual personal internet/isp or router, which was rare or due to power outage. However, I started playing as commander for the first time, and every single of the 3 times I tried to, at a random point during the game I "lost connection to host". One time it was within a minute, the other time it was about 30 minutes into the match, and the final time it was about an hour into the game. It's only happened playing commander, as I've played as random other infantry before and after with no issues, there's no isp/internet issues otherwise on my end, I have checked.

Hey myselfalex,

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Let's try some solutions:

Install the game on a different/faster hard drive such as an SSD.
  1. Navigate to Hell Let Loose in the Steam library
  2. Right-click and open its properties on the General tab
  3. Open the "Set Launch Options" and add "-dx12"
  4. Launch the game
  5. Attempt to join any server
Note: We don't officially support DX12 yet, we added a DX12 crash fix since some users are experimenting with it - but if you are playing with DX12, you need to be in Windowed Fullscreen mode and you cannot Alt+Tab from the game.

Turn off IPV6:
  1. In the Windows Control Panel, go to Network and Internet, press on Network and Sharing Centre.
  2. Press the Change Adapter Settings button, and RMB on the network you are currently using, this could be Ethernet or WiFi and press Properties.
  3. In the following window, disable the IPV6 checkbox and press OK to save the changes, restart your laptop/desktop.
You may need to tick and untick this if it's already unticked.

Go to the Steam settings - In-game tab - change the browser pings to 500 or 250.

So we can ensure you have the best connection, can you please follow the steps in the links below, and reach out to your ISP to open your NAT.
