Sorry to hear you're having this issue.
Does the game work correctly in fullscreen or borderless?
Can you please try changing the resolution, larger or smaller, to see whether it then fits the screen?
Can you also try a 125% scale?
Get back to us when you can.
Regards,
Team17 Support.
I think you misunderstand. the game works fine in all Modes, even though hell let loose is heavily stretched using an ultra wide monitor, hense not having a 5120x 1440p resolution.
However my issue isnt regarding fullscreen or windowed fullscreen, but windowed mode alone. I just want to be able to move the game window to one side of my monitor than having it bound in the middle of my screen.
there isnt a game border in windowed mode, for me to move it.
ive tried 125% resolution scale. it does nothing.
Ive also tried multiple resolutions and no difference. it just make my game very bloated and pixelated, with a very upclose Gun.
Im not sure if this url screenshot will work for you.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot with us.
How many monitors do you use? Is it just the ultra-wide monitor?
Have you changed the scale in your windows PC settings, not the game? If not, can you please test this?

I dont use any other monitor, no. just the ultrawide.
I have changed the resolution to 5120x1080p but theres no change.
Ive checked my windows settings, and its set at 100% scale. i also tried 175% scale. no change there either.
No idea why, but im unable to set my native resolution in windows settings either, but it doesnt seem to affect anything anyway.
Heres a screenshot of the settings:

I wasnt able to take a print-screen while playing warthunder, but i took a photo, of what im explaining. im able to drag the game window of warthunder to the left of my screen, because the the top border bar is present for me to move. Hell let loose doesnt have a top border in windowed mode,to enable me to move the game window.

Thanks for your reply.
We've just had a look at the game in the different modes i.e windowed, fullscreen, etc.
Can you put the game into windowed, then change the resolution to one smaller than what yours would be (you may need to try different smaller ones, as done in testing) You should then find that the game will become in a window for you.
The border may be outside the screen and not visible to you at the moment.
We hope this helps!

thank you for your reply again.
The Game window border is present at a lower resolution.
That said, i do not wish to play Hell let loose lesser than 1080p or 1440p
Ive tried, applying a smaller resolution, and dragging the window to the left of my monitor, before applying my native resolutions of either 1080 or 1440p. the Game window bounces back to the middle of the monitor, as it was before.
this still doesnt solve my issue, of being able to freely move the Game to one side of my monitor without playing at a smaller underwhelming resolution, or given that Hell let loose doesnt yet support 5120x1440p / 32:9 ratio monitors, without major stretching in fullscreen.
No problem at all, thanks for trying that!
Could you also try right-clicking HLL in your library - properties - local files - browse local files. Then highlight and right-click the .exe file and going to properties?
Then choose compatibility and tick disable fullscreen optimisations to see if this helps?
Otherwise, we've passed this over to the team for further investigation.
Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.

Ive found a solution, to my problem.

Its not ideal, but its the only solution ive found that moves my game window to 1 side of my monitor.
Nothing else works.
would be amazing if 5120x1440p or 5120x1080p resolution is optional in the game settings, as it would be great to play in fullscreen. unfortunately every current resolution stretches the screen.
We're glad to hear you've found a workaround.
As mentioned, we've passed this across to the team for further investigation.

May the game continue to improve and become better than any other on the market.

I have to note, that the tiny little program i found (Windowed Borderless Gaming) is now pretty much religion for me, that i use for almost every single game i play, using an ultrawide. Its a must have..
It solves all of the above problems, and allows you to offset the game window, if you like to have free desktop space on 1 side, which i occupy with Discord. Some games, im watching youtube, or even a film while gaming.
I dont wish to come across as though im advertising but, if anyone is having issues no matter what game you play, and you have an ultrawide, or super ultrawide, running at 5120x1440p, this program just solves all the resolution / windowed and offset issues.
All you got to do, is Run the game, set your ingame settings to windowed or borderless windowed. Run the program, Add the game too it by pressing f3. and then from the windows taskbar, just jump into its "game settings", apply the resolution you want, (you can do literally any resolution you want) and add your offset. X: 0 Y: 0 will automatically bind the borderless top left corner of the game window, too the top left of your monitor. Just apply whatever offset you desire, to move the game window across your desktop.
As i mentioned above, i have my games offset too the left of my monitor, leaving the above X and Y at 0, but have my resolutions ranging between 3440x1440 to roughly 4500x1440, leaving open space to the right, notebly my desktop, and you can move your discord there, so you dont have to use an overlay, or if like me, i play some casual relaxing games, and i pop out a youtube video, of film, and happily watch something while i game.
I could never go back to a normal widescreen monitor ever again. Ultrawides are on another level, andj ust wished Dev's would capitalise on it, as i know they use them as workstations during development.
Starfield is about to be released, and that has no ultrawide support. Crazyyyy..
Anyways.
Heres the link for "Windowed borderless gaming", if anyone wishes to give it a go. Its free too.
