New wheel options, mouse get stuck

Hello,

I had a little problem with the wheel of options, when playing as an Officer, where the wheel opens but my mouse seems to be "stuck" in one of the options and I can't rotate the mouse to choose a different option. I have to close the wheel, undo the binoculars from my hand, then pick it up again and try again. Sometimes work, sometimes I get the same bug again. Could this be a problem with my mouse or has someone else also reported this?

And one other thing I'd like to mention/suggest: when we bring the binoculars up to view, it doesn't stop swinging around, which makes me wonder where my mark will be dropped? Will it be exactly to where I was looking when I pressed the right mouse button to bring the binoculars up or will be anywhere along the circular movement it does?... I think maybe the binoculars, AND ONLY THE BINOCULARS, should have an static movement, as in being able to stand still and point directly to where you want to, without moving at all. Or even reduce the amount of swing it does, that would help.

Anyway, I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all the devs for this amazing and beautiful game! And please, never listen to these people coming from arcade games, complaining about "this and that" because we love this game for what it is: HELL! If they can't manage to play, go back to their arcade silly games then!!! :)

I've had this issue as well, doesn't let you select your option...I'll have to test it, but I may have kept my finger on the "zoom" key instead of just tapping/toggling it...perhaps this is causing the hang up

Humm...well there's something here: I don't use the toggle option for the right mouse button...when aiming iron sight or using the binoculars, I have to keep the RMB pressed. I'm gonna test using the toggle option on and off... but anyway, that shouldn't happen, if you don't want to use the toggle option, you know... I've been playing as Officer and Commander lately and I noticed that sometimes there's no response for when you try to bring the wheel up, or even just drop the ping marker. I have to press the MMB quite a few times to make it work. Hope the devs will have a look on this if there's more people with the same problem... Thanks for your reply!

I also get this described problem as SL with the new radial menu (holding MMB). Often the radial selection is stuck on a choice, usually observe, move, smoke or light tank and no amount of mouse movement is able to change the selection. So releasing mmb always creates an undesired marker - that needs to be cleaned up from the map. This happens in both ads (non binoc) and binoc-equipped states. My ADS control is set to toggle. I can't find a consistent cause, seems random. I am using a roccat tyon mouse and a ultrawide monitor.

I have the same issue. Sometimes when I hold the marker button (thumb mouse button cause I changed it, and alternative left ALT) there is no cursor to select the needed marker. I noticed it is reproducable by holding the marker button and aim/zoom in with the binoculars, then the cursor disappears. I can somtimes get it back by tapping the TAB key or by reaming or switching weapons and going back to binoculars. But somtimes it even disappears when I zoom in first, then trigger the marker button. This also happens on MMB binding so the key is not the problem. And with marker button pressed and shooting the rifle the cursor also disappears. My ADS is not set to toggle.

it was also a problem before the patch. And talked to other SLs, they have the same issue.

Hi guys, thanks for your reply!

I'll try to record my screen using my phone, 2 reasons for that: this problem is very random, so I never know when it's going to happen, then the second reason, I'd have to keep recording the entire match and at the moment I don't have enough space on my SSD to keep such a massive file like that.
So my only option is trying to record the screen using my phone. I will try to upload a video on YT showing the problem, but as the other guys there described, there's not much to show or say about this problem.... the mouse just get stuck in an option and as you try to move somewhere else, the arrow just start to flash while stuck in the same place... so you're obligated to drop the marker where it got stuck to.
I don't use the toggle option for aiming and/or binoculars but I also haven't tried using it to see if it helps... I need to be able to run as quick as possible when the tracers start flying above my head! hahaha :)

Okay, maybe I have found a fix... at least for me it worked, but couldn't test it for too long. I had that issue that I couldn't play the game in fullscreen mode (because the "Apply settings" button was out of reach), maybe the patch or somthing fixed that issue. So all I had to do, was to switch to fullscreen, change the resolution and now the marker wheel cursor stays on the screen (while fireing, zooming in with binoculars, etc.) so works fine for me, I give it a longer test this evening.
Hope this helps some of you guys.

Dude, if you can't see the whole screen then your problem is completely different from what we're talking about here. You need to check your resolution setup including Windows settings, graphics card settings and in-game settings. It sounds like you have something wrong with these. Good luck!

Dude, if you can't see the whole screen then your problem is completely different from what we're talking about here. You need to check your resolution setup including Windows settings, graphics card settings and in-game settings. It sounds like you have something wrong with these. Good luck!

it's a common bug... you can see the hole screen but the lower part is not available for the mouse to select the options. But the actual marker bug is pretty much the same. sometimes the markers work fine and sometimes they get stuck on (mostly the right) wheel. The icons flicker around and you can somtimes select one but you're not able to change them... because the mouse cursor disappears. You can work around by waiting a bit on "zoom in" then trigger the wheel. Or sometimes switching between zoom and marker wheel. But most of the time it's simply not there
