Character rotation locked at 180 degrees. Can't turn around until respawn.

Not sure how it happens but it has happened to me about 3 times. The last time it happened, it was after I submitted a bug report in game. I'm running around like normal and all of a sudden my free look gets locked to what appears to be 180 degrees making it impossible to turn around. The only fix that worked for me without restarting the game was to respawn.

Its still a problem. Just played a game and got at least 10 times in that match. Nothing really helped. Tried to jump a fench, respawn, leave etc. nothing helped. Sometimes its fixed for a short while out of nowhere and then its back again. It makes the game unplayable! Its a shame cause its fun game. Hope its fixed soon! I know its a alpha but this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug.

Just bought a game had amazing 3 matches then in the next 2 this bug happened. Tried redeploing, getting into vechicles, etc. nothing helped. Had to leave my team two times becouse of it. I don't mind small bugs but this literally makes game unplayabe while I enjoy playing it so much. Hope you will find solution soon.

(Q) I can only rotate my camera about 120 to 180 degrees and it is locked beyond that.
(A) Vaulting over any object fixes this issue for now and unlocks the rotation of the camera.

Do not worry, this issue is not forgotten - some issues take longer to solve than others, mostly due to severity, prioritization and on how difficult it is to fix. As mentioned earlier, its being looked into.

This advice from DannyArt is an easy workaround that you can attempt in order to restore your mobility.

Hi Team17_Assistance,

Just so you known this has happened to me too now and for almost a week not been able to play the game. Understandable this is early release and bugs exist and you guys are doing a great job, however I have tried everything from reinstalling the game, setting everything to default, did all the suggestions of vaulting and etc and I am now permanently stuck with the view angles as if I was in a truck.

I suspect that it is a bug where my character still thinks I am in a truck maybe?

We're sorry to hear you're having this issue.

We've passed this across to the team, but let's see if we can find any solutions in the meantime.
Can you try resetting all of your settings back to default?

Please can you also do the following:

Clear your game cache in localappdata folder:

1. Click on the windows logo, type %localappdata% and Enter
   
2. Open HLL folder and go to Saved > Config > WindowsNoEditor
   
3. Delete GameUserSettings.ini file (if this does not work, delete the entire HLL folder)
   
4. Launch game

This will reset any display settings you have.
