Freezing after 45sec-1min in main menus

Just purchased the game yesterday, and tried to sort it out for around an hour. While looking through menus and info in the main menus, the game locked up. I was not able to alt-F4, bring up task manager, or tab out of the game. Completely locked up my computer, requiring restart.

I can consistently reproduce the problem every time I open the game and remain in the menus for 45sec-1min. Sound interrupts briefly when the game freezes, but then resumes. This happens regardless of which menu I'm in, and will occur any time that I don't get into a game within 45sec-1min.

If I can get through quickly enough, I am able to enter a server and play, though I have not had enough time to see if the game will lock up during actual play time.

There are no error messages, no log files, and nothing to indicate what the problem might be.

Can you please try the steps here https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/radeon-500-series/radeon-rx-500-series/radeon-rx-580 select Win 10 64-Bit Edition and download the drivers released on 6/27/2019

I've installed the optional drivers. Unfortunately, the problem persists. It occurs every time I'm in the menus without fail.

Any other suggestions?

I would suggest to make a clear reinstall of your gpu drivers.
Uninstall them, restart your computer, and reinstall them.
