Hey everyone,

If you can't see any local servers on the list then please follow the steps below:

1. Go to Steam Settings > In-Game
2. Change the max ping from Automatic (5000) to 250 (the Lower)
3. Restart Steam (log out and log back on)
4. Start the game, click Enlist and wait for the server list to refresh

If you still can't see any servers with lower ping then please tell us what is your country/location?

Thank you,

Guys thanks for the replys.! What i did and helped me and now i can play the game is when i play the game i don't download or upload anything so i found a lot of servers with the proper ping so i can play. When i downloaded something it gave me crazy high pings so again i got kicked but now i am cool.! I hope that helps. Thanks for the help. :)

Something wrong with the last update!

I don't have trouble with finding a server, it's that after the last update my ping went from 70-80 to 200-900+ on over 100 servers. And now I can hardly connect and play a game without getting kicked. Because if my ping is over 80 I get kicked.

Before I could play on the Russian server with a ping of around 200 but, now the ping there is over 300l.

I loose the mic all the time and all communications sometimes when starting a game or when I am just playing. And sometimes when the game starts or when I respawn in there is a freeze for 3-5 seconds.

I have done all you suggested above and it didn't change a thing.

I live in Mexico the state of Veracruz. I have over 1000hr in this game and would appreciate some help resolving these issues.

Hi tortuga,

Sorry to hear that you are having these connection issues - can you please try the below:

Follow these steps to Open your Network Ports[portforward.com]

Flush DNS

  1. Click “Start” and type the word “Command” in the Start search field
  2. Right-click the command prompt icon and select the option to “Run as Administrator”
  3. In the open prompt, type “ipconfig /flushdns” (without the quotes)

Hi

Same problem as Tortuga. After the november update I find it really hard to join a game.

On the part where you select between American or German the game gets very laggy and also that is when the server kicks you.

As of November 12. This gets more trickier since the game would now kick you anytime.

I'm from the Philippines btw
Also I am using a LAN cable to play. I don't know if doing the network ports would also help me

Hi all,

Thank you for your reports - we are currently monitoring and reporting these kinds of server latency spikes. If you notice this again, it would be very useful to know:

Server name:
Time and date:
The country you are playing from:

We will then collate this information and pass it on for our developers in order to try to fix it.

I'm a player from the Philippines and it would be really great if you guys added a South East Asia server since the Australian servers have the least amount of ping but I still constantly get kicked due to high ping.

This happened to me too, several times, also after december 18 patch. First i get very low fps, like 1 or 2 then get kicked for high ping. Nothing wrong with the network here, i checked.

So in the event that you can't get a lower ping than 250 you can't play?
