ItS JusT a GaMe.
Yeah, with specific mechanics and teamwork, lol. This is why people bought it. Will some new people be awesome? Yeah sure...
But we know the majority wont be. We see what free weekends do to games like this, and now on top of that... Xbox Game Pass PC. Neat.
Sorry it gets old trying to justify the amount of bad players in to gain a few long term ones. Those players would have found the game likely anyways.
Just odd to me that you'd transition into a new game but play it like an old one? Huh? Do you show up at chess tournaments and demand they play checkers because its more comfy womfy for you? Yell at the people playing that they're GaTEkeEPiNG and get mad at the people playing correctly?
No mic? No teamwork? No redeploying when team needs it?
Yeah we dont want you. Kick rocks. That, or we'll just kick you from the server.
Could care less how cringe it all sounds, I am tired of seeing these types of games being ruined.
We'll pay for our servers and kick low levels all we want : )
Get your own.
It's frustrating with all the new people but the carry on from some of these circle jerks is laughable.
They are the minority, just ignore them and go have fun.
The Aussie servers are pretty friendly for the new guys, if you don't mind the ping join one of the Aussie servers and find a SL with comms and you will have a blast.
The reality is that, their playstyle doesn't fail at all. Sure, it may not be what you do, or what other experienced players do, but the game design does allow for it. There's nothing stopping or discouraging new players coming and, jumping onto a server, picking a spawn near what they believe will be the action (because let's face it, spawns are easy to place and experienced players are always putting them down), running in and getting what kills they can.
Them dying means almost absolutely nothing, they can usually respawn within a minute and with full gear, all to jump in and do it again. A lot of these people just love the "pew pew" side of things and care nothing for whatever else HLL has to offer (which is honestly not that much), except maybe some time spent in a tank.
Why would they care about anything else? They want to 'pew pew' and the game lets them do just that. The rest of the mechanics are irrelevant to them and are mostly done by a small handful of players anyway. Communication and teamwork are mostly just gimmicks in HLL, because it's fun to be organised, yet not completely necessary once you know what you're doing and what needs to be done.
TLDR: HLL allows casual players to play casually through poor game design. Experienced players getting angry changes nothing.
not learn as you play? ♥♥♥♥ be like EVE, gota make a job on a game from your job...
All i can say it please buy a mic.
