Gameplay: The gameplay in BF5 is faster-paced and more arcade-like compared to HLL, which has a slower and more tactical feel. BF5 has a higher emphasis on vehicle combat, while HLL is more infantry-focused.
Graphics: BF5 has more polished and visually impressive graphics compared to HLL, which has a more realistic and gritty look.
Scale: HLL has larger maps and can accommodate more players in a single match compared to BF5. This makes HLL more focused on teamwork and coordination.
Customization: BF5 offers a wider range of customization options for weapons and vehicles compared to HLL, which has a more limited selection.
Multiplayer modes: BF5 has a wider variety of multiplayer modes, including conquest, breakthrough, and frontlines, while HLL focuses primarily on large-scale battles.
Ultimately, the choice between BF5 and HLL comes down to personal preference in terms of gameplay style and overall experience. If you enjoy fast-paced arcade-style gameplay with a focus on customization, BF5 may be the game for you. If you prefer a slower, more tactical experience with a larger focus on teamwork and coordination, HLL may be a better fit.
I agree with most points here except for the tank/infantry dynamic. I'd say they're about equal here. Both games have fairly devastating AT weapons that infantry can use, taking your tank down in seconds but you'll stay alive far longer with infantry around you. Tanks in HLL also require coordination with other players, soloing a tank is both difficult and looked down on whereas with BFV soloing a tank is incredibly easy and the norm.
