its just about respect and consideration.
if you show both, you'll get both.
i don't treat young people by classifying them into a single game though, that's a bit unfair.
also make sure your parents are ok with you playing, you might hear some swearing. Im going to make sure i dont leave my mic on when i curse under my breath.
So few people take the engineer role to fix friendly tanks, if you want to help, take the torch and speak to them so they avoid moving and maybe kill you accidentally. Believe me, all tank crews really apreciate an Engie that helps with the repairs.
If the squad leader asks for someone to change class, be the first to raise the hand (supplies with the support class is always handy).
This may be weird, but doing the stuff that the standard player should be doing (and they don't do) will make you a great team player, your age will be the last thing to care about.
I really don't see how wearing a Balaclava is going to help him...

But seriously, that just leads to everyone asking why you are using a voice changer.
This should be something everyone does. My nephew is 11 and he wouldn't have either the diction or patience to write what you have.
But yeah, just be calm and consistent.
I felt bad for him because he really did want to try and he actually was learning to play and had potential. i told him to PLEASE stop talking as much and only give us info we needed and dont comment on everything. We dont need a play by play of the action because we are there too. He took my advice and calmed the heck down and there was never another issue.
Fast forward 15 years and he is one of my best gaming friends i have and we have played dozens of games together and even ran clans/fleets/squads of hundreds together as CO and XO.
So pretty much just dont run your mouth and give a play by play of every second of the match and things will be fine for most players. Good luck.
The world is for you as much as it is for everyone else, don't ever sideline yourself bro.
I am also too shy to talk most times... Especially if there's one of those British chicks in the squad with the hot accent.. Lol
I don't play squad leader because I don't like to talk.. Very little voice chat is required below the squad leader position. I suggest playing as Support, then listen to your squad leader, all you have to do is say "yes sir" or " ok" when they want supplies. I think the support role requires just enough talking to help you build some confidence.
