Cant see anyone
So i'm still new to this game but it really seems as if my opponents are literally invisible. 95% of all my deaths are from completely unknown sources, it seems like i'm either getting insta sniped from across the map, or maybe my opponents are too pixelated for me to see (although I have max settings except for shadows). It makes it really hard to get into the game as a newer player. Anyone else experience this?

There are a few things you can do for this.

1. I'm level 203 and my video settings are Texture: epic, Low, Community TAA, epic, epic, epic, medium, epic, epic, and motion blur off.

2. Prioritize getting into buildings and shady areas over having the best view until you get the feel of how to spot people. Positioning is and being hard to spot is king.
Defense is much easier to get kills than moving around on offense.

3. Get a 2560x1440 monitor for you want to be real good.
if you have more questions add and message me

When i first played this game i was having the same issue. Most engagements are from a distance. You will have a lot of people camping in bushes, behind objects in corners you name it people camp hard in this game. One i found to work well is stay crouched and go slow. Stay behind cover and use the map to your advantage. also flanking is key constantly stop and look around the battlefield for enemies staying close to cover and try hard flanks.

I had the same experience at first. Constantly check your map, you should be able to get a general idea of where the enemy is pushing from and that gives you a ballpark where you might get flanked from.

Past that.... Start learning to move much slow and more deliberately unless your whole team is storming a point.
gets a lot easier if you find a squad with people that actually talk. I am constantly calling out directions when I'm playing. The pointman usually eats dirt but a smart player will be able to tell which direction it came from by sound and hit indicator. Careful movement can limit the directions you can take fire from making it even easier to triangulate. The map also reveals a lot. If there's a spot without friendly infantry or outposts assume there are enemies there and you can use literal triangulation to determine approximately where enemies are with enough spawnpoints up by which ones light up and when.

Everybody has. I've said this so many times. The moment you spawn drop flat. When you move forward assume that you may be visible. crawl and move to cover. If you suspect enemies near, never get upright. Never walk upright, never run upright. Burn that in. If you feel there is no enemies in the area, sprint to cover in one burst and go flat and observe. This is the real deal and no joke. Wash rinse repeat.

if you get used to cod or bf3, bf4, bf5. This is nothing like it, its a hardcore, hhl view ratio is designed close to 1 to 1 ratio like a real battlefield. This is nothing like COD or bfs that ratio is being tweaked so you can see the enemy closer....welcome to hhl.

I'm able to clearly spot enemies far away, even hiding ones when I am completely still. I can still spot enemies in a close vicinity, or in an open field far away even when I'm running. But this ain't a run and gun-game. That playstyle only works for a rare breed of sweats.

Stop. Look. Listen. Learn to identify the sounds of individual weapons. Patience, awareness and deliberate movement is key. Check your map often. Learn how to predict where the enemy will be. The more experience you have the easier it will be to spot and predict enemy movements. The idea is to see the enemy before they see you.

Buy a huge monitor, play in a giant resolution. Other than that play close combat classes and stick to closer combat.

It really helped when I got a 32' monitor.. and even then I still press my face to the monitor sometimes.

Also it's a camping game (at least a lot of the time).. Attacking is hard defending is easier.
Like in other games people who play a lot begin to memorize the maps and certain parts of the map. That also helps a lot.

Just a tip guys You must play this Game at lower settings not higher, You won't see people moving thru bushes, or at the Lil crevices on The tall Hedges.
