PC Gamepass to Xbox Crossplay?

There seems to be very minimal information about this, but from what I've seen, It seems as if Xbox and PC players can play together if the PC player has the Gamepass version of the game. Basically, I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to play with my Xbox console friends or not. We are able to invite each other but the game says unable to join. Any help is appreciated, thank ya'll!

PS4 and Xbox players play with each other.

PC Game Pass, Steam, and Epic players play with each other.

There is ZERO Console to PC, or vice versa, crossplay.

Do you have a recent link to this info or a link to the devs even mentioning crossplay? I take your word for it which is unfortunate but I'd like to read if possible. Thanks Roovka.

Even better, a direct quote from the current CM Greg, when the gamepass update went live.

"Hell Let Loose is coming to Xbox Game Pass on Thursday, 4 January 2024 11:00 (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S),

Players on Steam and Windows Store will be able to play together, but crossplay will continue to remain on console between PlayStation and Xbox players ONLY. There will be no crossplay between PC & consoles. "

makes zero sense, given they're the same game, I think PC get the new updates first, so we're like the beta testers before it goes to console, and I'm sure both versions can use controller or keyboard and mouse.... so there's that argument out of the window...

Nice thanks. That is from early 2024 so I'm curious if they've let any information out about it since. Hopefully they bring full crossplay sooner than later. Thanks boys.

Cannot get into a game without cross play enabled its diabolical playing with console kids the servers are terrible it needs sorting out if i un tick crossplay I get no servers showing up

So how do i Take my XBOX Gamerpass windows vs and add a steam player to my party is the qurestion lol

No crossplay between console and pc, unfortunately.
There is a way to play on console with your pc buddies, but you will need either the epic or steam version of the game. Then you can play it on your console through cloud gaming( boosteroid or geforce now).
So technically still pc to pc but on your console. I did connect keyboard and mouse to the xbox, just made navigation and controls easier.

A lot of games have pc/console crossplay. HLL really isn't fun with friends anyway. Don't be fooled by the give away. While it may seem fun the first hours, it gets old very quickly. And your friends will be bored and stop being friends with you. Only because you played the wrong game. Show them other games, check EGS and steam for cool games but really, stop playing HLL. It's just an inferior shooter for old people.

The only way to play with friends is to coordinate which server you're going to join in the browser, there's no invite functionality.

Little information? This is what a split second google search resulted in.

"No, unfortunately, crossplay between Xbox and PC players is not supported in Hell Let Loose. Players must stick to their respective platforms.28 Aug 2024"
