Server is english in command chat (as majority are, even if regional), but you can create your locked squad where you can talk in german together. You can also type in chat for german speakers to join baker (example) squad.
I highly suggest to the most teamplayer/leader that knows english between you all, a garrison placement tutorial. From an OG you can learn this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9hLXcFgfHNQ
Second of all, I suggest you check the map quite often and try to figure out what's going on in the map and position accordingly (so you can also have a nice gameplay).
For the rest everything will come, as long as mentioned you place yourself a decent spawn garrison(team, box 50 supplies in blue zone, 100 red)/outpost(your friends squad, no supplies but 2min cooldown) in the correct spot, and also, present in chat that you are new but willing to learn, everybody will understand. Who doesn't is just a d.head but don't worry about those.
And mostly, remember, people put a lot of pressure on some stuff, but it all comes down for everybody to have fun. Focus on the team and this game will naturally become your favourite.
If I'd have 3 new friends to train I'd let them go as these roles:
supplier (always needed at strategic points)
medic
pioneer/engineer (to build nodes)
And one of the first things I taught my friends was that kills don't matter if you rush in instead of acting in a strategic way. In fact you can even be one of the squats contributing a lot to a win despite not even engaging in firefights just by securing supply and supporting other squats.
and that on a battleground is no safe place anywhere - if you are covered in one direction, the other is open ;)
best is to watch some videos, take a can of coffee and either cookies or a smoke and enjoy these:

Mono and Soulsniper have several videos where they explain the different roles seperat. look for them too if you want.
there are many other gameplay videos out there, some show streamers in their first attempt, and that is the same for all... you get shot and blasted to pieces by any kind of explosives for the first 10-20 hours (depending on your patience).
after 50 you start to get a feeling for the gameflow and strategies (with increasing map knowledge).
but even some with over 100 hours can still have issues - not only skill issues, also depending the quality of players all matches are very different.
so if you want to play a teambased strategie game in first person view - keep playing, youll get there! ;)
BUT.....
if you just want to shoot stuff and be rewarded as MVP or have a nice K/D, then this is the wrong game for you.
and youll do your team mates no favor by joining with that attitude ;)
additional :
-USE MIC
that's basically all there is to it. There's German servers if you prefer but almost every single person who has a mic is willing to help others, regardless of language
There aint no guides for basic things like that
Don't listen to ass hats like this . All you guys join a squad and if a higher level player joins ask them if they'd like the Squad Lead position. Explain you're all new , and friends but you want to learn . Anyone worth half a fook will gladly teach you everything you need to know .
OP, just enjoy the game, don't worry. Maybe as suggested just figure out the garrison/outpost thing for when you will create the squad for your friends and let command chat know about so some experienced players can plan accordingly
