Why is the game running so ass
Why i am getting like 40% to 4% card utilazation and 20%-30% and getting like 14fps with 3 fps 1% lows like what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on? How did my setup tank Stalker 2 1080p ultra settings but can do this game like WTF and that game sparked the entire Unreal engine bad movement like why is this game running so ASS?

Your bottleneck is the i5 processor. You should be getting better frames than that with a tenth gen though. I did some research. I went through the entire i5 family. There is no K version of the 10400, which means this creature is locked against overclocking and boost. But still... 14 fps? You can do much better with that chip.
If you are seeing low GPU utilization periodically that's typical for many of us. But if it's always low then your CPU is probably struggling to keep up. For a game like this, an old six core should have been sufficient but this game uses UE4 which has a lot of limitations/bugs.

You might be able to upgrade the CPU at a decent price these days since it's four generations back. Also when the performance is bad double check the CPU clock speed. I downloaded a Windows 11 update that pegged my CPU at 800MHz which made everything slow including this game.

Are you using the startup switches:

-dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system -refresh 144 (your monitor frequency)

Your cpu isn't a good partner for your gpu or memory, but I'd expect better performance than what your getting. You should be thinking about sticking something like a i5 12600 in if possible.
cuz your CPU is so ass.

Yeah that's why the game gives the same FPS on LOW and ULTRA settings, bcz it's everyone else's PC problem and not the game LOL.

Funny that only people with weak CPUs are complaining. My graphics card is not great, but my CPU is better than the one OP uses, and my game performs well enough. A strong graphics card alone does not fix everything.

Okay then how i am getting 80 fps at ULTRA settings and 76 FPS at LOW settings? Please tell me how that makes any sense if it's not the game. HOW FUNNY RIGHT?
funny my I5 is even older and runs fine (tmo XD) getting regular 60-80 fps in times more (old normandie maps) but rarly drops and never to that level OP describes.

i dont know why all are hitting on the cpu - it may not be a holodeck but when you dont adapt your settings and expect too much from an older game with troubled engine, no hardware can do anything.

and just to have said it - NO, its not only the hardware!

the game and especialy the engine has issues, but as already mentioned, no high end hardware can fix things just with "moar pauar"!

I run all maps at a constant 120fps, no matter the situation, I'm not saying he needs a better system (although he is bottle necked with his CPU and GPU combo)

The engine is not smooth by any means, even with the 120fps I still get the common stutter every few mins, but FPS remains the same.

This so bizzare

Sure dude give 2k

Like, aren't we going to acknowledge the fact that this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

I understand my PC is bottlenecked, but at the same time, it can handle the most intensive games of 2025 (like Stalker 2) on EPIC settings with DLSS Quality and still give me 60–100 FPS.

And somehow this game doesn't even utilize my hardware properly. It's acting like I only have 6GB of VRAM, and that’s why it’s running like crap. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I don’t get why someone has to fork out $2,000 just to have a smooth gaming experience — especially in this economy.

Sure, you might choose to spend that kind of money, but that doesn’t mean everybody should, or that it should become the standard. I just don’t get how this game can run at 60 FPS one moment, then suddenly decide it’s Cyberpunk 2077 on launch day and drop to 13 FPS.

I’m not here for internet arguments that just lead to ego boosts — I’m looking for actual solutions to my performance issues. If I were running a GTX 1650, I’d understand. But I’m not.

I respect actual help. If you're going to act like a jerk, at least be a helpful one.

Could be something corrupt in the game files? Have you tired doing a fresh install or validating the files?

Also, forget Stalker 2, two different games, different codes and engines - so let's only narrow it down to this game only.

There is something wrong with the files or something is not getting triggered properly.

Try one or two of my above suggestions and report back.

make the dead bodies despawn time the minimum time, i've had a similar issue where i would randomly get 18 fps while playing thjis game and it was because the bodies were not despawning for a long time. I have a 4080

DAYUM THIS FIXED IT FOR ME NOW I GET 90 FPS NOW I KNOW WHY I WAS GETTING 27 FPS IN EVERY FIRE FIGHT CAUSE OF DEAD BODIES PILING UP

I have a 4070 super with i5 10400f and was getting same issue as the OP but this seemed to fix it i had the despawn at 5 mins

gpu usage is still at 30 percent cause of my i5 but i just use lossless FG now to get to my 165Hz

Ok that kinda makes sense, when i was shooting the machingun seems like the bullets become part of the game, if i kept firing my PC would have fronzen completely, so bodies, bullets, everything becomes part of the match.
