its a bit like PC gaming....
I'm not convinced DLSS could fix the performance issues. When I see the performance tank my CPU utilization is so low the cores scale back to 800MHz as if my computer is idling. DLSS won't do much if the CPU isn't keeping the GPU busy with work to do.
They couldn't add DLSS without enabling DX12 by default. I think the devs said DX11 is the default for stability reasons.
How is playing on 42 inch tv is stupid? What an unintelligible comment from you. I was meant to play the game at 4K 120+ fps, not 1080p....LOL. You don't even know how bad it looks on a 42 inch 4K OLED TV playing at 1080p. Of course my PC specs runs most AAA games at 4K 120+ fps fine, except Squad and Hell Let Loose. Both of those games runs like assshit due to bad optimization.
My PC specs:
RTX 3080
Ryzen 5900X
32GB RAM @3200Mhz
WD SN850X 2TB SSD
MSI Tomahawk Wifi Mobo
42 inch OLED 120hz 4k screen
Go play Shadow of the Tomb Raider with DLSS on. You will see the big difference at 4K. If you play games at 1080p, get out of here!
specs for anyone curious:
ryzen 5 9600x
rx 7800xt
32gb ddr5 @ 6400
2 1tb gen 5 ssd
b650 arous elite ax v2
samsung 34" G5 (3440x1440) 165hz
