Press any button to continue not working

I just installed from epic games but press any button is not working. How to fix this ?

Sin embargo, resolví el problema esperando pacientemente a una pantalla del estilo pop-up donde me pedia permiso de vincular la cuenta de "Epic Games" con el juego HLL, una vez ahí di todos los permisos necesarios y pude pasar del problema de no poder oprimir ninguna tecla para avanzar.

However, I solved the problem by patiently waiting for a pop-up style screen asking for permission to link the Epic Games account to the HLL game, once there I gave all the necessary permissions and was able to get past the problem of not being able to press any keys to advance.

You mean just waiting without pressing any key?

Does alt-tabbing work? I would try to see if there are some active windows issue

ok so, i just launch the game from the install folders and i can press that "press any..." screen but now im stuck on next screen

On epic right click, select manage then enable parameter and launch it with "-dx11" its the easiest fix so far

Start game, has this issue. Shuts down Epic Games DRM, restart DRM and wait a few seconds. Alt+tab to see Epic message to link game to Epic account. Confirms, then any key works. I then find servers whioch are all full in my area, so I join an empty one. EAC kicks me out and claims it isn't running even though I saw it start. Quits and then plays something else.

I probably have to start it in administrator mode to wake EAC up, but the game shouldn't be this problematic.

By epic drm do you mean epic games launcher or something else?

hi there i solved this on Steamdeck but yeah maybe i was a little stupid before 🙄

Change to Desktop mode,start the game from heroic

then comes a security pop up from your browser and ask for a security key.

Accept the request and you got to the epic homepage where you can add the game to steam.

then change the steam controller to mouse and keyboard go the ingame controller settings change the layout.

Then comes a message reconnect controller

Go to the steamdeck controller settings change to gamepad and the steam controller works now

I found the solution. You have to accept whatever they ask when you first load to the loading screen (lol). It says we have to give permission or cancel. I tried to cancel 2 times and had the exact issue you guys have. Then I tried through epic games, boom. Got in. I got this when it was free, so I feel a bit cheated when I don't have the right to free-ly use the game. Why ask for our permition! Are they breaking the law here? Hope u have the same problem guys. I mean so u now can fix it.
