Have they nerfed the AT rockets?

last game i fired 2 rockets into the rear of a Sherman no damage to tank.

game before that i fired two rockets into the rear of a heavily damaged German Tiger and it made it back to HQ for repair.

Yes, even the light tanks can take quite a few rear/side hits. This means it's more important than ever that explosive ammo boxes get dropped on the map so that anti-tank can finish a tank off.

When did they nerf them it must've been recently and did they include it in the patch notes?
It was fairly recently, maybe two months ago, whatever update that aligns to.

Well they need to rework it because supply and transport trucks from any side should not be a to hit kill with a rocket launcher especially when a recon tank can be one shot with AT from the side or rear.
i had to shoot tanks in the hull 3 times to get it destroyed last night

i like the fact that tanks are now made of more than paper but having AT mean nothing is kind of dumb.
about supply and transport, two hits seems fair. i see them a lot more now because you can actually get somewhere without being clicked on and instakilled. people now actually try to shoot the driver.

idk it seems fine now. i agree with the notion that a recon tank should not be weaker than a supply truck, that just doesnt add up whatsoever.

problem with having to hit tanks so many times is that if your team neglects a tank squad or doesn't have any, you basically lost the game unless magically everyone decides to perfectly work together.

don't make this yet another game where ppl have to yell at newbies to do the meta/the only thing that works.

forcing players doesnt vanish the cause of why they didnt do it in the first place, dumb devs. now they're just not gonna do it at all and they're gonna quit the game bc tanks are god

Am maxed AT and play it often,
Can still 1 shot scout and 2 shot light/medium tanks from the rear.

Dunno what everyones talking about.

Nothing has been changed. It's been the same for years. 1 for recon. 2 for Light/Mediums. 3 for heavies. If it's more than this you need to learn where to shoot.

Can we get some contingency measures for, like, "If this player isn't just mad bc bad, then ..."

Because I know I've seen a medium tank take five rocket hits from the front and I don't really play AT. I was sitting there waiting for that thing to get blown up so we could move. I saw that thing getting battered from the front /five times/ by rockets and it just did not go down. I say 5+ because I imagine they went on after I got floomped by the tank.
where you aim and actualy hit are two different things XD

sometimes the rocket "ricochets" into the stars, no dmg done :/ especialy when the target is moving.
HLL is inconsistant with it hit reg and syncro, so there is a luck factor, even if you are the best player ever XD (what seems to apply to nearly all shooter players that ever shot a virtual gun :steambored: )

as other here have said, there was no change latly.

if you want to destroy a truck or jeep, always shoot the engine/hood - hitting anywhere else doesnt even count as destroyed vehicle when the truck burns out and explodes later :(

for all other points that allow to kill or stop a(ny) tank....

I mean, Panzershreck means tank terror in Englisg, and for very good reasons. They did call Sherman tanks = Tommy cookers because they lit up the moment they got hit with AT. But i guess they never get instant death for gameplay purposes.

The front is always the strongest part of any tank pretty much in history.
