Most people would agree with you on this also
Haven't played for a long while, doesn't really change what's been said here. Almost everyone agrees that the Recon-Arty meta is trash and even both development teams have acknowledged this also.
I actually think this is one of the very few things they could change and get away with it. It's probably the most widely agreed upon issue this game has that I don't think many would be too concerned.
Having said that, I know some people are very fond of the current artillery set up and don't want to see it just become a Commander ability. Either way, I doubt T17 will touch it, because they've shown they lack the competence to do much with this game
That's my main complaint "no attempts have been made". I don't claim to have the perfect solution, but they should just try something and see what happens, not doing anything is unacceptable.
By continuing to play the game, by definition you accept it. It doesn't mean you like it or don't want change, but you've accepted it because you're still playing. The fact that neither of the 2 Dev teams have even TRIED anything is pretty sad, like how hard is it to run a beta test for a couple weeks and then see what the feedback is?
Yeah, the crew that's working on it seems to be either a bit amateurish or they severely lack something, like very low manpower and harsh deadlines for what they're tasked with.
I cant say either for sure, but there's definitely something up with how the updates seem to go.
Might be severly lacking work ethic, because the options you listed are like best case scenarios ngl.
