Are you passing any arguments to the game such as "-dx12"? Perhaps you are passing in a flag known to cause problems.
I overclocked my CPU a month ago, (which disabled 'boosting' locking it at a static number). There'd be no performance dip from 4 to 4.4ghz however. It feels like this started after the new snow map released with the brand new UI. Sure it's happened like this before but not this bad and not this consistent. Losing gun fights sucks because of this issue and I never know when it's going to harass me. At least this has made me level my tank lol
and new maps always stutter a while, actualy every time you reinstall the game or make changes, the shaders need some ingame time to compile.
of course the new updates can have some bugs too ;) nothing new XD
it can also be a side effect of many new players, often with high pings that then lag the whole server.
but i havent realy noticed any performance issues with my pc, to me the game is as inconsistant as it always was ;)
