Who's Brilliant Idea was it to Despawn Engineering Blueprints.
WTF, how was a stupid idea like this implemented? HLL doesn't despawn Ammo or Explosive Boxes, Med Boxes, Supply Boxes for a reason. Hmmm, must be cuz Engineering Blueprints are just special or maybe cuz they are green and get lost in the foliage. That must be it...

So the engineer works his Arse off under fire (is Killed several times) to build blueprint for a bunker/barrier/barbwire what ever, and there are no supplies because no one wants to run a Support Role. Redeploys and the Brilliant Designers of HLL have decided that kind of action “Offends Their Since of Play” and is somehow unfair, WTF. This is a special kind of disconnect with the player base. This bring me to question whether there are some who are intently trying to hurt this game.

Ask me how I figured this out?

Fine. Remove the blueprints and just let the engineer build the thing. This is still a special kind of disconnect with the player base.

A lot of people also asked for a construction mode when equipping the hammer to hide the blueprints, and also for the old blueprint to despawn when placing a new/newer one of the same type.

Instead they opted for universally visible blueprints which despawn most fo the time before you can build them up usually from a lack of support players.

I'm not exactly certain, but the despawning might be needed to free up unconsumed resources

They forced Blueprints on us a while back. Now they Despawn them what in the HLL is next.

The community hounded the devs to put a time limit on the blueprints.

So what do you do about the Title/Actual Post Case. Remember, "They forced Blueprints on us a while back. Now they Despawn them what in the HLL is next."

Just replace the blueprints if they've disappeared and you're actually ready/able to build it.

i play engineer often, and i support the decision the devs made on this particular subject.

still think the anti tank gun should be cheaper though.

still think upgrades to buildables should also be cheaper.

still think that the node system needs some tweaking

OK. it appears to get even weirder. Blueprints of Nodes don't despawn, but the other engineering structures do. This despawning some Blueprints is just a disconnect from reason for the players now.

Nodes are vital to the team, and their presence being visible alerts players to the need for supplies at that location.

Engineer's structures are useful, but not even arguably necessary.
