New Player seeking performance advices

I just got the game yesterday and I‘m very confused with how bad the game is running.

My Specs:

• GPU: 3080ti
  
• CPU: Ryzen 5600X
  
• RAM: 32 GB DDR4
  
• installed on M.2 SSD
  
  
• Resoultion: 2560x1440
  
• Video Settings: All Low except Epic Distance

I get anything from 120 Frames in empty fields to 50-40 Frames in Dense City’s with lots of action. The average I‘d say is 60-70 Frames with frequent dips sub 60 FPS when there an explosion nearby.

This can’t possibly be how most people play this game… Is there anything I’m missing?

also you can,

- Nvidia Profile Inspector -Enable Resize RBAR, use the Red Dead Redemption Flag

- Nvidia Control Panel / APP -Enable DSR Factors to 4k on native 2560x1440 res -then set 4K resoulution 3840x2160 & Resolution Scale to 200 - in the .ini File.

after these changes for me the game looks beautiful and crisp with higher FPS with higher lows.....


If you forget to make the file Read-Only, the game will feel sluggish and its looks blurry......until you go back, make the edits again, and make it read-only.

In this state the changes you make to cosmetsics (or any other settings) will not save, so keep that in mind.

You can always delete the file and the game will rebuild to default on the next startup, if you have any issues -ie make a typo causing the game not to start.

I hope you focus on the woefull , cultlike company, Expression Games. All of the HLL issuses are being caused by this company, and its inability to produce functioning code, not T17 that just provide $$$$

None of this works. Furthermore, if you have to do all this to get above 60fps. It’s garbage. They need to do better. The game is not that good that it warrants having to do all that.

You defending these devs in literally every discussion I see indicates you might be working for the devs for damage control. (Happens all the time in forums these days)
