OP I’m playing on ultra as well and see the same anomalies. Clell also tried to tell me once that his trees in the far distance weren’t 2D and he’s never seen pop-in. The man needs to check his prescription glasses. Watch any YouTuber that plays the game on ultra and you can see the pop in and morphing of LODs. Does it look good? No. Is it normal for this game? Yes.
I noticed it first for 10 Month ago, than i buyed a new Graphic Card (my old one 980, was ♥♥♥♥ anyway in these Days) and it was gone, like you said but now it is back. :(

I can tell you, it was gone til the last Week. (but was there 10 Month ago, before i upgrade my System)
And now it appears from nowhere, that makes me Insane.
I got 2500 Hours in the Game and i cant ignore this. But why it happens again?
Sure, on far distance the "bug" was always there but now it is on close Distance too and i didnt changed anything.
Then came calls for optimization. In short, the Devs don't know how to optimize the game on the current engine. So their quick fix is to lower draw distance for high poly assets for everyone. This improves performance, but it creates noticable Pop-In and low-res texture transitions. To make things worse, this is entirely unsynchronized between assets, so often you will see a high poly house at 100m away, while a low res shed is 50m to the side. Some cover objects do not even have a cardboard cutout and will simply not render at distance. This particularly affects tank gameplay.
The only thing you can do, and should do, is remind the Devs constantly that it's 2023, we are all running RTX cards, and LoDs matter.
I never noticed it before and I hate it.
Man cant imagine HLL with Nanite tech just wow.
But by me, the draw Distance Bug was gone too, after upgrading my Rig and now the Bug is back. How can that be?
Keine Ahnung, Marcus, wenn ich das nur wüsste. Bei mir zieht sich das seit dem ersten Update/Patch nach der Veröffentlichung hin. Vielleicht liegt es an den Treibern oder der Firmware? Zumindest muss ich Martubb recht geben: Ich habe das ebenfalls bei so einigen Youtubern beobachten können und T17 sagte im Support-Forum selber, dass sie wüssten, dass das Spiel (ernsthafte) Probleme mit dem LOD hätte.

I don't know, Marcus, if only I knew. For me, this has been dragging on since the first update/patch after publication. Maybe it's the drivers or the firmware? At least I have to agree with Martubb: I've also observed this with a few Youtubers and T17 himself said in the support forum that they knew that the game had (serious) problems with the LOD.
In Youtube kann ich das auch beobachten, so ist es ja nicht. Ich sage auch nicht, dass ihr alle Unrecht habt aber warum das so plötzlich wieder auftaucht bei mir, wundert mich nur stark.
Ich dachte sogar schon, meine Graka wäre im Arsch. :D
