Text chat?

Why can't I type in text chat? As soon as I type one letter it exits me out of text chat.

You might need to check for any stuck keys on your keyboard or anything else you may have plugged in (like controllers or joysticks) which might be sending Enter/Return or Escape keys to the game incorrectly when you attempt to type

Because it's the only way to talk to 50 teammates. The new Squad Leaders don't know what they are doing so the vets who are playing role positions are using it and the new players respond. Lately the young players communicate better with chat than voice. Wasn't suppose to be that way but it is. So fix it
