I don't think that would change much tbh. reviving already is quite fast (which is good for the medic), and you can do it while lying on the ground. Dragging someone would make the medic more exposed and take more time than simply revive him. So there is no point in it - because when you have the oppertunity to drag someone, than you could also revivie them.
A lot of players die on an open field. Drag feature would be really good. But the ticket system should be changed because everyone is just doing human wave tactic and medic is useless. More people would rather hold F for 3 seconds and respawn quickly than wait for medic. Dying as medic is so easy because his weapons are so fu*** weak. Pistol kicks harder than MG fired while standing. Playing as doc in squad is easy because players know that when they die they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up because their team is losing tickets. So everyone is more careful and using cover.
They should give every class 1-2 syringes to heal downed players or change bandages to stop bleeding and revive and add medicbag to restore lost hp.
Reviving without bandaging would still be the better option in 99% of the cases. Reviving takes 4-5 seconds and can be done from a lying position as well. Also, the revived soldier immediatly can fight again (even while getting bandaged), which increases the chance of getting into safety after the revive. Your suggested dragging-method couldn't really be much faster without looking weird. At best, one second to pick a player and at lest 2 seconds (normal walking speed) to get to the said cover. So unless you can now sprint while dragging a soldier, there is hardly any benefit it terms of time you spend exposed to the enemy. But at the same time, you are even more exposed by your position of you drag a soldier, simply because you can't do it from the less dangerous lying-position.
So in conclusion, you have to choose between:
1. Trying to revive someone asap, resulting in exposing yourself for maybe 5 seconds from a low-profile position. Also, there is a small chance that the revived person is fighting back and eliminating the threat.
2. Drag the soldier in 4 seconds behind cover, in a way more exposed position. After that, you still need 4-5 seconds of doing the actual reviving.
I can see that this feauture would be fun for realism, but I think there would be hardly any situation where this feature would be actually suitable for a medic bc of the reasons I mentioned. It would only make sense if everyone could do it - because it actually makes it easier for medics, if regular soldiers can secure their wounded onces, while not taking away any tasks from the medic itself (still needs to be revived)
I agree with the first part. Tickets should definitely be more important. However, your idea to give every class two syringes would make the medic class completly pointless. As I mentioned, it is already the case for the bandages: Hardly anyone gets help from a medic for bandaging after a simple hit, since they can bandage themselves in the same time. If you now give everyone 2 syringes, that means every soldier can revive two fallen once. A medic in this scenario would only be usefull if the ratio of dead, revivable soldiers is more than double the living once.
tbh very few medics are competent at the role for example a medic las night didn't heal me once and was in my vicinity of 2-30m away he/she never once made an attempt to heal me. in an other match I had two medics running to my aid a few times they worked their butts off.
the main problem with Medics is
1. they are few n far between
2. often when downed you have to suicide cos they are not near you and will not come to your aid if not with in your vicinity of 50-100m
the role is not fit for purpose tbh as much as that will make for hard reading. I'm sick of having to suicide and take a time pen cos a Medic can't/wont do the role when I have team mates around me that could heal a minor injury that's downed me.
When you take a role in this game you are infantry 1st and you are a Medic an Engineer, Ani Tank 2nd that is a real life rule of military and war. the Medic role is not fit (it's an ideal that woks on paper only) for purpose of responsibility it's got. Medics can't and are often not even within vicinity of the real action when team mates are rendering Medics useless art which point they just become bystanders observing or running into a meat grinder.
again making it so team mates could perform some minor teammate healing would improve the game so much but as usual were not allowed to have fun any fun must be changed or nerfed and made unpleasant
