do not play on Lucky strike servers they visibly and undeniably defend racist and homophobic players on their servers someone called someone the f slur and me having teamkilled this man somehow leads to me getting banned for having brought it to the admins attention and hyping up the fact that i team killed him and not at all addressing the fact that the guy is blatantly homophobic and he now continues to get away with it while i sit here with a 2 hour ban to "think about my actions"
chat of course didnt help at all the reccomended i ignore it or just made excuses and someone even said "being gay was diagnosed as a mental disorder and now its a lifestyle" very disgusting stuff overall.

The sheer amount of victim blaming on this tread is astounding. I have yet to see a comment say what the other players did was wrong. Teammates say slurs to get a reaction, even if it wasn't the one they were hoping for. The point is, discrimination goes unchecked and festers within gaming communities where everyone is supposed to be welcomed. I'm glad the admin has posted the logs and defended the server but I'm afraid the damage has already been done. Prevent ♥♥♥♥ like this from happening not only by making it a rule, but by cultivating a culture where racism and homophobia are not more accepted than us.

It kind of seems like the whole one group can say it but if another group says it then its racist. Considering there is a rapper named lil darkie I would assume it's not all that offensive except to people like you that want to use it as a gotcha moment. (personally, I have never heard it used like ever in all my travels).

Is it racist if he is not using it in a racist manner? He is taking on the name not giving it to other people so again seems like you are grasping at straws in order to "one up" in the argument.

If it is okay and socially acceptable for a black rapper to use it then that would make it okay for some random dude on steam to use right? In a society where people can get canceled for singing rap lyrics with the N-word in it, it's safe to assume that yes you are being sensitive and grasping at SJW straws. The fact that you originally got banned for throwing a tantrum and thinking that just because someone allegedly used a slur against you, you had to right to go against a server rule.

Instead, you could have been a normal adult pinged the admin, reported the issue, muted the alleged player that used the slur, and moved on. But no, you had to throw a tantrum and use your victimhood as a shield.

When someone is punishing you (accidentally or not) for making rules in your head for them to follow, this isn't their ignorance at play... It's just you ignorantly hurting yourself at best. And at worst it's you trying to manipulate others by hurting yourself, of course.
