US Anti Tank needs its 4 rockets back
this is something ive considered being a borderline needed change back from the update. being an AT main ive seen the many tweaks done to the classes and the dedicated websites for tank damage list the bazooka as "light" armor penetration where the panzerschreck is listed as "medium" armor penetration. the limited effectiveness of US rockets on german armor warrants at the very least 4 rockets (the zook cant kill a light tank from the front where the shrek can). commander call in ammo drop is also a must have for this stage of the game.

The Shreck constantly bounced of the Stuart even on point blank.
Not to mention that the Shreck could never two shot a Heavy from the rear and since the last Update, all American Tanks are basically immune to attacks from Panthers and take 2 Shrecks.

If anything, you now have to suffer as much as the german AT guy, at least a bit of balance in this game without any form of balance.

AT rockets are now the "noob tube" of HLL (BF2 reference there) with them mainly being used on infantry
Current patch, taking tanks is either satchel or don't bother

i agree with this. the schreck/bazzoka feels kind of useless now. specially with low ammo.

I know others are going to say " i one shot enemy tanks all the time". but i disagree with them, they're probably getting hit by other tanks, a mine, and other AT. i seriously doubt it is just them and their one shot....

Agreed.

I'd also like to see them changed to just be AP rounds so they are less effective against infantry and can't be used in a spammy way.

I think 3 rockets for both Germans and Americans is a good compromise. You get one shot to range with (cus you cant see ♥♥♥♥ with the panzerschreck) and 2 more to kill with. To be fair, by changing to 2 rockets I use them less as glorified grenade launchers and more as intended, but still, only having 2 rockets is not enough. Especially when your character has at least 2 on this body and one in the tube to start with.

I know they had a few different types of ammo available IRL. I'm guessing the one in game its the HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank). So you have your AP and HE all in one. HEAT is usually less effective against armor than AP, so +1 on your suggestion

i lost faith in these decisions that are being made now. i really cant understand some of the changes im seeing.

Nah, the krauts have better tanks. there is nothing wrong with that. USF has garand. If you ACTUALLY wanted to improve the AT class you would be talking about the AT gun.
1 add slow movement.
2 improve the loader traverse.
3 improve gunner traverse.
4 improve the sights.
5 heavy static AT gun (flak 36, M5) added as an option.
6 Possible to move head while not looking down sights.

Btw, we were referring to them as 'noob tubes' 4 years before BF2 was even released when playing RTCW. Just saying...

At this point the Jumbo is just a faster firing Tiger. Both of them.

/disagree...while I do agree it's annoying to have just two rockets and that each one can't do much damage, the game has waaaaay too much AT floating around if you don't put some significant limitations on it. Current balance is much better than it was before imo.

Its not that low of an ammo if your synergize with a support that has explosive ammunition.

ok so you want to add about 16 pounds to a bazooka that weighs 14.3 pounds ? Plus your rifle , ammunition [ which you would be surprised how much a 100 rounds of ammo weighs ] , helmet , canteen , field E-tool , and other kit ? then the around 20 inch length off each rocket , do you think you have a magic pouch up your butt ? lol

I think it would be better to give more classes the ability to drop Explosive Ammo crates. The US Rifleman should have a Level 6 class with it like the German Rifleman. Perhaps give earlier unlocked subclasses to get the crates like making the Rifleman Level 6 have Smoke Grenades and the Level 3 has Explosives Crates. Or you know, they could give the infantry more of their anti-tank weapons like giving the Anti-tank a subclass with three Panzerfaust launchers and maybe give the Officer or Support a subclass that can drop a crate of three Panzerfaust launchers with a long cooldown. That way members of the squad could grab one to engage tanks in close range. I dunno. I have a feeling we aren't going to see much change at this point.
