Cross platform?

I keep hearing and reading conflicting things... is it cross platform or not? I'm on PC, my mate on PS5... can we play together?

No you can't. HLL is on Xbox gamepass although HLL is not cross platform.

no sry, cross platform is not available.

the problem is that the develpers though it would be a great idea to divide the players, and so they called gamepass users "crossplay".
they also play on PC!
there is no reason to mark them as such, and still it happened.

the result is exacly what you see here ;) you thought crossplay is cross plattform XD

HLL on gamepass is another platform than Steam. So therefore it's crossplay. There is even a setting ingame if you want to turn crossplay on or off.

It's not crossplay through consol and PC though.

this game needs cross play... the player base is already mixed now, controller vs mouse and keyboard argument is null and void so why not just allow cross platform, player base would be really healthy then, I know at least 5 people who would join me on HLL if it was crossplay, just think I'm one player out of the 6k active PC players as of right now..

if each of those had 5 friends as well, that would be massive growth.

I agree but unfortunately it would make development slow to a crawl since it's a ton of work. Games like call of duty kind of spoiled us when it comes to pc-console crossplay. I guess it's really a money issue.
