I thought it was common sense to understand that the already banned cheaters do not make up the whole number of how many people cheat and the number is always higher. Isn't that why people say that anti-cheats catch only some of the cheaters and not all, and that is the reason why the number of cheaters should always be higher than what makes up of the already banned cheaters?



Or are you going to contradict this common sense and say that the numbers of banned cheaters make up the real number of cheaters which basically means that anti-cheats catch 100% of cheaters, but then it would contradict the saying that not all cheaters get caught. So you let me know which one it is and then we can continue with your 90% case source.

I know 100% that there are cheaters in this game, and yet I can also thoroughly enjoy my time in the game, because it's random with the cheaters.

I've been in servers at times where the cheating was epic, but I've also been in servers were it appears not a single player is cheating. Same for games like BF2042. All you can do is leave a server if it appears to you that the cheating is ruining the fun.

If you try several servers and it isn't fun, then the only other option is to play another game for a while.

The AI anticheat video was an undisclosed ad btw. The people interviewed were also very clearly trying to hard sell their AC by inflating what the number of cheaters actually was. Very typical marketing that people seem to fall for.

The people behind that AC also have already worked with game devs, most notably Riot with Valorant, and that game still has a fairly large influx of cheaters.

Truth is, there's no winning the fight against cheaters unless:

1. Massive changes are made to how invasive they are allowed to be. You'll be hardpressed to find people who will allow complete unrestricted access to their PC just to play a videogame with no, (in reality just less than now) cheaters.

2. Cheat developers are properly hunted down and punished within the extent of the law. Though I would suspect, like matchfixing, there's a massive criminal element here that prevents investigations without grave consequences.

The best and only thing you can do is report who you suspect to be cheaters and leave it at that, getting your panties in a bunch because some guy beamed you across the map isn't worth the time or reaction.

We just need to pass laws that if you get caught cheating its the death penalty and people would stop cheating well at least in the civilized world but they probably keep cheating in china since they aren't civilized like the rest of us

There's a guy who is originally from South Africa. He's married to a Chinese Doctor, so he lives with her in China now, though they may have moved to Taiwan now. His YT channel is "Serpentza." He does a lot of videos about Chinese culture. In one of them, he explained that cheating is literally just ingrained in the culture. Not just video games, and in fact, he wasn't talking about video games as he explained this. He said they have a saying that translates to, "If you can cheat...cheat." In other words, if you can get away with it, then do it...and in fact, if you can get away with it, of course, do it. Like, why wouldn't you?
