Outposts should be as durable as Garrison
Outposts should not be destroyed when enemies are in close proximity of it but should be manually destroyed like how Garrisons and Nodes are! Outposts should require at least two squadmates nearby the squad leader in order to build one similar to Post Scriptum's mobile spawns which would be a lot better and encourage teamplay.

Nah, that they get wiped by proximity - or a well thrown grenade serves to give Outposts a clearly defined role with its own set of vulnerabilities.

Naw I'm still fine with them being destroyed by grenades but by close proximity is dumb and ruins the immersion. You can hear them anyway due to the radio chatter and plus they shine a bit so they're easier to spot and find.

OP - I think they should both be more brittle. Bombing Runs and Arty should both kill them. A few rifle rounds (5 M or less) in them from close range should kill them too.

No. They are already incredibly fragile, and the only game mode where garrisons are hard to take down are where they are pre spawned in the same area every time. Bombing runs do kill them. Rocket Strikes do kill them. Artillery killing them would be kind of dumb, absolutely no counter, and no cooldown.

Currently I've seen both OPs and Garrisons survive both Arty and Bombing runs that I thought should have been destroyed.

Lol - killing OP's with proximity runis immersion because then there arne't so many places to respawn..... snort, guffow..... smigger.....

It's perfectly balanced that way.
Building OPs costs nothing and the cool-down time and respawn time are very short, so it makes perfect sense that it's going to be easier to destroy.

Screw your immersion. If they were as durable as a garrison why would anyone even bother going through the trouble of building a garrison that requires supplies anyway? Immersion but your guys materialise out of a radio. :conwayfacepalm:
