Suggestion: Show distances to garrison when the stop watch is equipped
As the title says, I'd like to see distance markers for all nearby garrisons when I'm trying to place the next one. Would be a great quality of life improvement.

Thoughts?

You kind of already have that. Each grid square is 200m.

place marker on closest garrison, look at distance, profit?

I do just that. It could be more convenient though.
They cant solve way more fundamental problems with this game so ... i'm not expecting anything like that being worked on.,

Squad does this, it's very useful

Go to the area where you want to build a garrison. Once there, you may have to contend with multiple garrisons regarding the 200m rule. Open your map, find one of the existing garrisons and enlarge the map to expand the garrison marker. At the point where the vertical line intersects with the top of the round circle of the garrison marker, that is the exact position of the current garrison. Ping that point, toggle off the map and look at the ping marker in-game to get the distance. This will tell you precisely how far you are from that garrison. Do the same for the other garrisons that you need to account for regarding the 200m rule, and you will be able to determine which direction and how many meters you have to play with in order to build a garrison. Hopefully, you will have buildable terrain available to do so. This will give you precise distances which I've used to squeeze garrisons into places others didn't think were possible. Outside of that, it's a guessing game to a large extent.

I like to use a jet black permanent marker and a speed square on my screen when i have my map up. It makes figuring out the distance fast and easy.

I think we all know how that works, what we want is an improvement on this.
